How about you prove this is true...anybody can say anything about anyone...so you need to put up a court docket sheet or news article, otherwise shut up.

Did not take long for Fishel's past history to come out.
If I had to vote, I would go with Hollinger, have heard nothing but positive about him.

I have not heard to much about Little.

From what I understand it's true. I think there was even a PFA order issued so it should be easy to prove. I also wonder about this so called "retirement". Does that mean he gets a retirement check every month? If so, it should be public record.

Mr. Fishel, in checking the credentials of ALL 3 candidates I see where you on your website have a banner proclaiming to be certified to be a magisterial district justice through the Minor Judiciary Board of Education. In fact, on your website you go on to further state how very much this qualifies you. That's all well and good, however in checking this bit of information out by calling the Minor Judiciary Board of Education everyone can find out for a fact that your certification has expired making it a meanless piece of paper. You of course knowing all of this still have it on your personal website......isn't that something, someone who wishes to become a judge, can't be truthful himself.

It is clear that Hollinger has the most qualifications and is currently in the law field. The other two men may have certain qualifications, however, they are "former" police officers and may have only been exposed to petty crimes such as traffic violations, domestic violence and such within a court room setting. Hollinger is an active attorney and has been apparently for 15 yrs. Someone that is "active" and not "former" in their line of work would most likely be a better choice, seeing that they are up to speed with today' happenings. My vote is surely for Hollinger! He seems to be the most qualified.

Dear HEAT, I knew it was only a matter of time until someone got on here and started throwing mud.
I am a republican. I am insulted by the fact that you think any of the republicans in this county are prejudiced or bigoted. The voters in the county will look at what matters. They will not consider childish and irrelevant mud slinging. They will look at the facts, the actual qualifications of each canidate.
Keep to the actual issues at hand - Qualifications.

Whatever...I am sure he is a very qualified candidate however the sad truth is a lot of what "dirt" is dredged up in most campaigns does seem to affect voter's opinions on who they deem qualified...sad but true...it's the American way!

How can all three of these men be running both republican and democrat. This should not be allowed. You want to be a judge but can't decide which party you are with. Put it out there and let the voters know which side your on.

Which one is most likely to take money to have charges dropped? I will not forget the scam the cops and Zepp were running at the square in Abbottstown.

You know...the one where you stop at the stop sign, then the cop pulls you over for going one foot accross the crosswalk before making the complete stop.

And this was at 11:30 at night when no one was around walking.

Whoever started throwing "mud" at canidate fishel you should not have. I have to agree with "concerned resident". Keep the election where it belongs, with the qualifications. If you do not have any, then you do not belong in the judge's office. It is obvious the mudslinger was supporting Little. Throwing "Mud" at fishel and then at hollinger.
I am a republican and I care about qualifications. I am also not a prejudiced person or a racist and was also insulted by Heat's comments. Whatever happened in Mr. Fishel's past should probably have been left out of this election.
I would never vote for Mr. Little at this point. I will be voting for Mr. Hollinger.

It appears that I must once again defend myself from the cowardly blogging that is occurring by some whom are using and hiding behind an alias moniker in an attempt to drag mud.

First I will address the Non-traffic citations filed SIX YEARS ago. It was the strategy of my ex-wife’s divorce attorney to have as much public attention brought to bear on me in an attempt to promote the perception that I was a bad husband. There was no case for a divorce otherwise. The DA has a policy to be contacted in any case involving a police officer that may be charged. This is a good policy to demonstrate that no one is shown favoritism. It was obvious to all that these charges were frivolous complaints against me, but the citations were filed according to policy. As “FACT CHECK” stated they were dismissed and withdrawn. If I even cared about the citations, I would have had them expunged from my record, as these are nothing more than a traffic ticket.

HEAVEN SENT complains about the semantics of me listing the certification by the MJB. Any education that one takes can ever be taken from them therefore my certification is not “ a meaningless piece of paper” I attended every class, tested and passed the certification program. I am extremely proud of this because the fail rate is extremely high. To pass the program at the first testing is commendable.

I obtained the certification and I will re-test and be current by the time I take office. There is nothing misleading or not truthful in what I list on my website. Certified by the Minor Judiciary Board of Education, then and by the time I take office. Thanks for reading it!

MAY THE BEST MAN WIN discusses current and active experience. Can you take away an experience? That is like to say you can un-ring a bell. I have investigated, prosecuted, or been involved with cases in all levels of our court system from minor traffic to criminal homicide. I have civil experience as well with bad checks and landlord/tenant complaints.
I have been involved with cases before the federal courts both civilly and criminally. Our streets are now safer because of my arrests that brought federal convictions and sentences of multiple 35 years to life for large city drug dealers that thought we were just “local yocal wannabees” and preyed on our youth. I hope this answers the “THEY WERENT COPS” post.

I am not sure how the comments that HEAT listed about Greg Hollingers lifestyle were removed, but I agree that is was a good call. This type of dialog is inflammatory, and even if true has no place in an environment such as this.

In the beginning of this race the three of us shook hands and agreed to keep the campaign clean. There is a lot of information that is quite on the “insider” type. That is, most of the public would not be able to dredge or know where to find it. So someone close to the candidates is inflaming this race. I have not and shame on you if you allow this to continue.

I said before and I will say it now, if you want to stand toe-to-toe with me for a debate, use your true name and come on.

I am Douglas Fishel and I am running for the office a Magisterial District Judge.

After reading the information presented in the candidates web sites and whats here it's clear which candidate is the right choice for me! Plus I don't see any of the others reaching out with their real name like Fishel did!

Doug Fishel is as honest as the day is long. He says what he means and means what he says. He has the ambition and knowledge to do a great job as a judge. I remember way back when he started the first private ambulance service in the county. Pretty gutsy considering he was still in high school and 17 years old! But that is why he used his name on this posting, not afraid to be challenged.

Doug is deep rooted in the community and is active in local gov. too, He did not just stick his head up the past few months to run for election, He has been giving all of his adult life
