Wow. Sad event. I went to high school with Harold the driver of the stolen mercedes. This is the first time he has driven this reckless. He actually got into a near fatal accident back in 06' I believe while driving back from prom weekend in Seaside. He almost died than. Now it seems like he hasn't learned his lesson this time around. If he lives he should get life the owner of the mercedes should also be charged with manslaughter for igniting the chase through 25 mph back roads which caused harold to flee at higher speeds and eventually killing the little girl. How sad. HAROLD WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU MAN??? You'll never get it!!! THIS IS IT FOR YOU!

The reason why the owner is not getting charged is because the PIGS don't want to look stupid. Why didn't the cops tell this idiot to pull to the side, to back off the pursuit and let them handle it? The little girl probably would have been alive today if the owner of the mercedes didn't engage in the pursuit and only encouraged harold to speed away at dangerous speeds.

I went to school with the 14 year old boy before he moved to New Jersey and it is just terrible sad so see his sister killed. My heart goes out to the family and I just hope the judicial system does right to the criminal who slaughterd a young girl and ruined a mothers life and a young boys adolecence

If New Jersey gun lawmakers did not deny all New Jersey citizens their Second Amendment, you know that inalienable thingy those old guys wrote way long ago and do not fit our times<- this was sarcasm if not detected, this would have ended the right way!
The Right Way:
-Start and end in the driveway. not a busy street.
-The owner of the Mercedes exercising his 2nd amendment and firing his handgun at the thief and ending this encounter before it leave the driveway.
-Thief dies, not the little girl
-Minor damage to vehicle
-Thieves will know that Americans are not afraid to use their rights and protect the life and property as stated in the constitution.

okay i also go to camp with the family friend also and he was loved but everyone at camp and he always has a smile. he is still in the hospital and broke both of his legs and lost a kidney. he had surgery for his kidney and internal bleeding. he might need another surgery but if he does not need a surgery and is better in a week, he may be let out of the hospital. I also have hung out with the other boy that was in the car and hopefully him and my camp friend will have a speedy recovery as well as the other boys mother. miriam, the 10 year old sister will never be forgotten.

You shouldn't comment on an incident you no nothing about. The police hadn't caught up to the owner of the vehicle yet, so there was no way to tell him to pull over. The fact that he (the owner) wasn't charged, has nothing to do with the police. How about making the driver of the stolen vehicle repsonsible; although I do agree teh owner of teh vehicle share in the blame.
Also, you should be careful about the words you choose because those "P**gs" will be the people you or your loved ones call when you're in need.

If you would of spoken to Harold u should know that after the first accident he had and his brain being deprived of oxygen and being in a coma for two months, Harold was never the same . He was crazy he saw things and spoke about things that was out of this world. My deepest condolences go out to both families.
