I doubt he gets convicted of murder, and the family testimony will make sure of that. My heart goes out to all involved, and yes - he made a mistake - but to live with the feelings of guilt over an error in judgment is something much worse than any jail time he may get. Most of the readers have gotten behind a wheel when they should not have, so think twice before casting the first stone.
Thank you! I can't believe the self-righteous attitudes represented here.

I read these comments with you people playing God and passing judgment. Shame on you all. The same people who are quick to judge are probably wife beaters, drunk drivers and hypocrite churchians. Don't be quick to judge, you ignorant f'''s!

Seems to me that a conversation among family members over such a deep and hurtful incident shold not be taking place on a newspaper message board. Reach out and touch someone, would you? It makes me feel like a peping tom, voyeur, or some other less than admirable type of human being! Maybe some healing could be had by all in a face-to-face, or at least a phone call!

You are right Hank, I regret my posting completly. Especially since I found out that he has been changing since the wreck and recently began reaching out to family members (before the charges)I love my Nephew so much. There is forgiveness and love for my nephew in my heart and I am willing to do anyting I can to help thru this life's most terrrible ordeal. I do not pretend to know how he must feel inside. I have put in multiple request to have my above posts removed. I was reacting selfishly to my sisters death and my focus was not right. When next we meet please know that I love you. Keep your chin up. Your family is here for YOU Christopher. I mean that. I do not want you to go to jail. It will not help anything.
