Jerusalem, the Capitol city of Israel has nothing to do with fulfilling Bible prophecy today. All the prophecies concerning Jerusalem were fulfilled in 70 CE Since the year 36 Almighty God Jehovah has had no affiliation with that city, or it's people, he has given this earth enough evidence of that by allowing it to be polluted and filled with false Religion. It will never be used by God.
The new Jerusalem, the heavenly Mount Zion is the center of all pure worship in heaven. Jesus Christ is enthroned as King in heaven and will sit on God's throne for one thousand years to come.
