Hay guys at New Madrid. I wish you good luck on your contract. I work for Norandal in Newport. I have been there for 25 years. Seen many contracts in my life. Hold to your demands. We have to pay more and more every contract for our insurance and now have to hire temps. They took away all retirement for all new employees. Cut 2 dollars an hour for all new employees even after they become full time. We had 2 choices. Take it are walk out. We are a much smaller plant than you guys so maybe they want hit you as hard as they did us. Any way my prayers are with you guys.

FYI. We just took a trip to Memphis to see some family and we run into a few guys up there that are staying in hotels. We were informed that they are on standby for a strike/lockout job in Missouri. We didn't ask too many questions. Good luck guys, hope you all vote Yes on the contract

No one is going to tell you anything! Just have to wait it out. Voting isn't over until late and then they have to count the votes. You will know by midnight tonight. Must be hard not knowing if you're going to get that scab job or not. I hope no one puts anything on here when they find out! Keep you losers wondering!

Why do all of you who disagree with anyone always start w/ the scab comments? Truthfully, the "scabs" will probably know something before you union babies & those of us who are sick of your wimpy crying will. I almost hope you lose your jobs. You clearly don't deserve them!

"Hey you guys"? Who are you ..Chunck off of The Goonies?? Sorry you're not going to find a lost treasure ship with a pot of gold on the Mississippi! You may, however, find a sloth or two!! With the guys I know, if you scab, you may end up looking like sloth!!

Just because they're on the buss headed up here doesn't necessasaiy mean the voting isnt looking good. Company just gonna have them close just incase, they would be dumb not to. Its not like they are going to count as they go and give a play by play lol...

They're called scabs cause thats what they are. they even advertise as a scab company on the internet. so why get mad when they are refered to as that name. As said before I'm voting to stay and work, some may not, I don't know. But you can bet your bottom dollar the union WILL know before anybody else the results of the vote. I'm on my way in tonight and will be sure to stop by the union hall and vote like everyone else...just keep dreaming, hoping and praying for now scabs. I hope your just as out of a job at midnight as you are hoping for me.

While you guys are shut out/on strike will you please brush up on your English & spelling? Just a thought, especially if you're going to try to find another job, because it will be difficult to find one that will even hire you, much less pay you over minimum wage with the way you speak & write!

The scabs just want what you have.a Job.Go on strike lose your house trucks and wife's. If there on a bus....it is what it is...I'm sure the scabs want all the money they can make.So take a good long vacation slap Bubba. On the back tell each other at the union hall how you showed them who runs that plant.Don't cry when they foreclosure your house repo the truck and your wife leaves you.
