He's been gone since 87. If any of you new him and shed some lite on what he was like when he was younger, my family and I would be forever grateful

Hello Michael, I have published a website for the 820th TD Battalion that is the most definitive on the web. It is at http://820tdbn.org A brief search did not find you grandfathers' name but the names of the recon enlisted men I have is from 1942 (recon cadre) It was the Co my grandfather was in.
