Joel Bailey trial set to start next week

The trial of a Louisiana man accused of fatally shooting his father and wounding his mother will begin Monday.

My prayers will be with you and your son Ms. Baily. we pray that he will be placed in a place other than a prison . He needs to be kept somwhere where he will be taking his meds. right and not took off them. May god be with yall.

I am really fed up with these people who get out of real prosecution or punishment because they "are mentally ill" or "had a bad childhood" and other defenses like that. In the first place if the mentally ill who won't or don't take their meds can be kept in a mental health facility after they commit murder or some other serious crime, then they could have been held there before someone has to die for them to get there. A lot of people had a bad childhood; but, there reaches a point in everyone's life when they begin making decisions for themselves. Those choses are their responsibility and they should be treated accordingly.
