Shut this idiot down!!! Our law enforcement needs to come down on these people so hard that they wont want to risk it again...Stories like this just infuriate me!!! Over and over again..and they get a smack on the wrist!!! Shut them Down and make them pay a HIGH penalty!!! Better yet....put them in a cage with no food and water and leave them their until they succumb to the elements..

Please do not give up on this investigation. This man also owns many houses and rents them out and his tennants tell horror stories of how they live so one could only imagine how these poor defenseless animals are being treated. His son has openly said that Mr. Dutiel also sells puppies to experimental facilities. Please stay on top of this situation.

after they shut the puppy mill down, they need to go through each one of his properties with a fine tooth comb!!

Close this moron down or give him some of his own treatment! This is horrible and if he were investigated 2 years ago then why on earth didn't someone do something to him then? I agree with Lori..........make him pay a high penalty and not just a smack on the wrist. This just makes my blood boil. I wonder how many meals he does without or medical care when he needs it. If he does not want anyone to see his property.......what is trying to hide? Don't give him time to clean it up. Use a zoom lens and take pictures even if they are from the road.

Don't be a fool and let him get away with this. He gets away with to much just because he has the money to buy off some people just to keep there mouth shut.He needs to be put in his place. But i do know one thing for sure, his wife don't have a thing to do with it.The only reason she is named in this lawsuit is because her name is on everything.

As a dog rescue person for several years it is with great satisfaction to see this horrific facility being sued for its outrageous treatment of dogs. The fact that Mr. Dutiel holds his facility out as a rescue infuriates those of us who truly do rescue dogs. Mr. Dutiel is a very unethical business man on many levels and to see him behind the legal "eight ball" gives credience to our legal system. Mr. Dutiel has great power in Perry county, having skirted the legal system for many years. As a dog rescue person I can only pray that this legal action will be successful in shutting his facility down and terminating his abilities to resurface under a new name in a different location. The only real punishment for this man would be to financially cripple him from every opening another facility.

Boy he's a grammar expert? Take him out behind his barn and bash his kneecaps in. Idiot.

Make sure they castrate him too so he can't breed, one idiot is one too many.

I too am involved in dog/puppie rescue. It is people like this man who makes our efforts so difficult. For every one dog we rescue, he puts another 10 dogs out there. Just to make a dollar. I have heard of his mistreatment of the people he rents to. If he is mistreating human beings in such a fashion, it makes me ill to think of the poor animals he is "rescuing". What a joke. Dutiel needs to be charged criminally and pay fines that will shut him down for good. He needs to make formal apologies to those he has hurt. He needs a good dose of his own medicine.
Dont but from pet stores

Don't but pet store pets. Go to the animal shelter where many animals are never adopted and euthanized.
If people wouldn't buy pet shop pets then they would quit buying from puppy mills and hopefully mills would shut down.
If you just shut down puppy mills they just open uo somewhere else.

This person is sickening. Animals look to us for protection & in return they give us endless amounts of trust, love & companionship. If these allegations are true, he & the scumbage Firefighter who murdered his two resuced pets belong in the same cell.

Dutiel has been taking advantage of the poor ppl for
many years now he has resorted to making poor innocent
animals suffer daily so he can put money in his pockets.
he has to have someway to take care of his g/f and wife..lol
I hope he is shut down and then his rental properties put under inspection and made up to code..
Remember Dutiel Karma is a bitch...

I have visited Wagon Wheel on several occasions and saw no such thing. We also have purchased two puppies and Mr Duteil gave us another. All were healthy. In March we purchased our Husky/Mix. She was in a freshly bedded kenel and workers were cleaning other cages, seemed to be a daily routine. The Dutiel's are caring people towards animals. I have been in the home were Yorkies are kept and it seems to be a clean place too. If something happened to my pup I would not hesitate to buy anoter.

I agree his rentals are scum... His practices with housing are not the greatest... Often in need of being torn down. Many evictions...Were else are these people to go they all have choices.... pay for better housing

My understanding is a humane agent can enter a property to investigate a claim of animal abuse and does NOT need a warrant to do so. Humane agents are not the same as police officers/sheriffs deputies and are covered under different laws. I think this needs to be researched and Price should press on.

I hope they put him in a cage where he belongs. Shut this fella dog before another dog has to die from his greed.
so what

since there is a problem with too many unclaimed animals in the US and a financial problem. i say euthanize all strays, rescued animals and any pets if not claimed within 30 days. humans have created the problem, it's too bad animals have to pay the price.
so what

since there is an animal control problem and an economic problem in the US, we should put all animals to sleep that are stray, in a rescue shelter or unclaimed after 30 day. humans created the problem, it' too bad animals have to pay the price.
