Little Joes is disgusting. Stay away. Chicago Dough or Beggars is good for what you're asking about.

Int town I like Pizza Mia for thin and nothing but Nancy's for deep dish. If you want to go out for pizza, Ed & Joe's in Tinley Park is the best paper thin crust loaded with toppings.

Having grown up on Chicago southwest side, I can tell you, pizza in NL is all bad to poor because I tried them all. When all you have is crap pizza, people are stuck picking the cream of the crap for their favorite.

Then move back to the southwest side.

Little Joes - thin
Beggers - Lots Of toppings
Pizza King - Homerun Inn Style greasy
Nancys/Giordons - Deep dish

Stay away from Aurilos (not like Homewood at all)

Chicago Dough is also good......

Pizza Mia has awesome thin crust and the best broasted chicken. We live in Plainfield and hope they open one over here. For stuffed Lou Malnati's hits the spot - not as heavy as Giordano's plus the sauce and buttercrust are unique.

Pizza King is like Home Run Inn? What? lol Well, you have only been to the break-out stores then, they suck. You have never been to the original Home Run Inn. Pizza King is like the origional Home Run Inn except for the crust, sauce, cheese and sausage. Other than that, you're right.

Chicago Dough? They use the best cheese and old school sausage which are both terrific. Their crust is not bad too.

Sill, the southwest side of Chicago has dozens of killer pizza places. Like thin crust? Try Obie's on Archer and Oak Park. Like that origional Home Run Inn type? Try Vila Rosa on Archer and a few blocks easy of Central. Just a couple of teasers on awesome pizza.... But, I know, no one wants to drive 40 minutes for pizza.

Papa Joe's is good. You can try it 1/2 price on Mondays. Order early though because there is a long wait.

I was just in New LenOXX for a show with your mayor. I had some good pizza. When I asked where it was from he showed me a label that said Baldys pizza. I also had Baldy beer and Baldy garlic bread. All the labels had his face on them and looked they were just taped on other boxes. He showed me his BoSox tattoo and kept asking me to play Bball with D Wade. But I had to keep on rollin.
