Why do homeowners need a group of "need to feel important " rejects tell them how and what we can do with their own homes??????? The village regulations should be sufficient. The whole HOA concept seems ridiculous to me.

Abolish your hoa. Retain a fund to pay for the common land and enjoy your lives and home. You will be a much happier subdivision.

Then move. Living like a hillbilly with rundown homes lowers home values. So grateful for BASIC rules. Perhaps you're the "reject" who can't get along with your neighbors or get elected to the HOA.

Let alone the falling home prices. What about the taxes you guys pay? I know I pay a lot. What's the average over there? Why should you pay for an HOA? I don't have one and we get along just fine on our block.

You people in bluestone think you are better than everyone. If it wasn't for low class, you guys would not have any class at all.

We have basic rules.......the village rules.......hoa positions are non-compensated. NO MONEY. What do you lose by not getting elected? You must be a board member? Do you feel important??????????

I'm paying $8200 a year property tax. I then have to pay $100 a year to the HOA to tell me how to live. Every time I think about this I want to puke.

I assure you joker, my house is worth more than the homes in BSB. There may be stables around here but they are for boarding and not for draft animals on my farm. Everyone just wants to be left alone. There are a lot of people who get off on running things. There's a difference in trying to make a difference and sticking your nose where it doesn't belong.

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Libra

You're in an idealistic mood today and only want to see the best in other people. This is typical Libran behaviour, because you aren't good at facing up to harsh reality at the best of times. Today, you're ready to believe that someone is a candidate for sainthood or that they're the best thing that's ever happened to you, regardless of whether it's true or not.
