PAY ATTENTION. You can see for yourself how a true, traditional travel scam is perped at IRS.gov for a 501 c3 affiliate of the AAU. Prepaid hotels, field-house and fields for profit, weekly fundraising, paying off high school coaches with petty cash and dinners, and best of all, prepaying 2014 Cooperstown. Yes, 2014 cooperstown. Never too soon for a good tax swindle. so the burning QUESTION is why isn't the schoo board concerned that the LW PRO-SUSPECTS have NOT filed an IRS Form 990 since August 2009 where they are officially listed as an AAU affiliate with less than 25k in revenues. PAY ATTENTION. search at IRS.gov for EIN 263081864. Where does the fundraising and sponsorship money go? Why no recent filings? PAY ATTENTION. Being an AAU tax-exempt organization doesn't mean you don't file. We know it is complicated with all of the Ponzi schemes you are perping, but you must keep up with appearances. BTW, GOOGLE "AAU president". Still feeling good about the AAU affiliation and all those overnight tournaments. Parents, wake up
and protect your kids before it is too late.
Thanks for the good info. Not surprised one bit

The LWC varsity team is practicing. First game in a few weeks. Looks like we might actually have a good season for a change?

That is great to hear. We should all thank the NLBA for the success of the LW Central program. The NLBA board and youth coaches are the stepping stone to high school baseball

You must be kidding right? Rebels baseball defines mediocre! Look at their Memorial Day tournament? They only accept teams that fit their brand of baseball. Its a great complex that breeds below average baseball, but that's because the board members have kids on those teams. Get real!

No such thing as "rec ball", its BASEBALL! The little guys play under certain rules to accomidate their age. The kid that was 10 and is a good ball player is now 15 and a still a good ball player. The other kid that was 10 and just an average player and learning more about the game, is now 15, and is a good ball player and may even be better than the other kid that played travel ball. But then again he may be still average and the good ball player is burned out.
My gosh people, quit evaluating these kids at 9 and 10 years old like there in a major league farm system. Some of you should have your own sports talk radio show talking about these young kids, its unbelievable. Teach the kids baseball not "rec ball", or give them the hi and mighty attitude their on a "travel team". Teach them fundamentals with lots of reps. And keep it fun, no matter who it is.

Who had the best incoming class, West, North, East, or Central. Lets talk about something positive. West seems to have a lot of pitching at the freshman level. Anys thoughs?

Should be a great season for all the teams at the Freshman Levels! From a numbers standpoint, Central had a huge turnout, West was down, but that is expected due to enrollment. The team to look out for in the future is the players that are 7th graders now. Central will be loaded with talent and may win a State Championship in 4-5 years
