If I had to do it over again I would have moved to LWW district. LWC has a terriable staff running the school and they cater to the 'good players' in sports, expecially those whose parents contibute things like new baseball cages! They tend to sweep things under the rug depending on the student. There "seems" to be more drug use at LWC then at LWW. The kids and parents I know LOVE West and all I continue to hear about Central is complaints.
I guess my experience with LWC and their staff is very tainted. For example, Why was it ok with LWC staff and coaches to allow a kid on the baseball team last yr. when he did not attend any practices and had to wait an extra week so that his bloodwork would come back clean. This kid did not even have to try out. Where is the zero tolerance there? I do beleive every child deserves a 2nd chance but that should be extended to every child not just the ones who are good baseball players. Again this is just ONE example of how LWC is inconsistent.

And yes I know EVERY school has drug issues which is why I think it s/b mandetory drug testing before school starts and random during school year

i think that might be taking it to far. i think drugs in schools has been going on since the begining of time. nothing you can do about it. just make sure you educate your kids on it and you should be cool. have an open commmunication stream between them and you.

i think the BSB area is where its at...there is a house on Belot for 319K i am looking at.

I think it's the parents job to drug test their own children and deal with that at home. You can by drug tests over the counter. The school is not equipped to deal with every kids drug problem, it's the parents job to test, intervene and get assistance if necessary.
