Where the hell is the fountain at for the front pond? The water is stagnant and it smells. Get off your rear ends you dead beats and put the fountain back in.

Okay........if the fountain was vandalized, notify the residents, file an insurance claim, and have a new one installed.

I contacted Weaver management, response is that it is all in the process of being taken care of. Weaver indicated that steps were taken to see what the cost of the claim is vs paying out of pocket vs insurance premium increase on claim. Board members Ned to agree on the right direction for the subdivision. My guess is if he residents were notified on every little issue the postal cost would be through te roof....I had heard from one board member that steps were taken to see if the construction workers damaged and thy were responsible. I have confidence that the board will make the right choices for all of us...their is more to life than you worrying about a pump in the front entrance. Guess your back from your weekend with nothing to do again. Bigger problems in the neighborhood kids vandalizing stealing from cars. Hope to catch the little bastards, wake up their parents with the police.

They could probably have a website to offset postal costs to better inform residents.

Its not that major of a decision. Its been down for over two months. I understand that we are not going to get the brightest individuals to volunteer to run the board, if they are incapable, resign and let someone who is take care of the business of the hoa. My god, look how nice the townhomes pond looks, and then look at ours. Ours looks like the construction trucks dumped road debris around it and all the workers are using it as a toilet.

Agree. It does look terrible and unprofessionally manicured.

We are moving out of New Lenox asap. The heroine problem is scary. The schools are ridiculous too. The only place in the country to get by with charging almost $300 a kid. LW is no better. Will County is not the best place to be raising a family we are finding. Politicians have taken over the schools. You might be better off in Manhattan although if you have kids they'll end up at LWC unless you send them to Provi.

Tinley Guy, Bluestone Bay is not the only subdivision in town. I moved from Tinley several years back and it was the best decision we ever made. You can come on here and ask which area is the best and you'll get a dozen different answers. When we were looking out here, we would drive around and then stop into local shops, but a couple items, and strike up conversations with the people to see what they thought. Good luck.

FYI construction is NOT done on Rt 30. the entrance way is going to change. Keep walking down the road and look at the rest of any entrance. Rumor is interviewing security gards to work the front entrance with the New gardhouse. You will see in time your board has made the right decision. The pump on our side (the townhomes). Has been fixed six times this year, construction material gunking up the system costing us thousands so far.Our Rock does look better. heard your yearly dues are going up is that true?

Don't buy in a subdivision with a home owners association. I moved out bluestone bay 2 years ago. I bought in south point across from berkots on laraway rd. it is unincorporated new lenox. I paid the same price for a larger home on over an acre lot for the same price I sold mine in bluestone bay for. The taxes are almost $3000 a year cheaper! I can build a shed and do what I want with my property. Home owners associations are like condo associations, you are restricted and fined according to their rules. Word to the wise, avoid them like the, plague!

HOA Hater was a troublemaker his house was always looking bad. Everyone thought they moved out years ago with the bad condition of their house. He moved into a OLD home south point if I'm not mistaken most recent built home was in the 1980's. Well water. No services , train will keep you up at night CN line runs all night. Sounds to me like he bought a foreclosure to save some money..take a ride through both subdivisions the difference is very apparent.....

Tinley guy, you can't come on a blog and think you are going to get honest answers. BSB is a very nice subdivision. Every subdivision has there quirks of people. HOA I believe is a good idea. I came from a subdivision that didn't have one, the houses went way down and looked so trashy. I moved into BSB because I liked the area and it had a HOA. You can't listen to BSB haters etc...they will fill you in with all gossip which most is all false. If you are serious of moving to New Lenox find a realtor that will be honest with you with the areas.
