Ok, so I'm in the checkout line at Sam's the other day and I notice this person in the lane next to me. He has one of those large flat carts, towering full of drinks, jars of jalapenos, chips and a few other mics things. Clearly having one HUGE party or taking it all reselling them at his own store. After the worker scanned his last item, the customer proceeded to pay with, 2 LINK CARDS! WTF.

I wanted to walk over to him and say Your Welcome.

If the cashier let them pay with two link cards they were wrong and helping the person commit fraud. I am sure store owners commit this fraud just as much as the people with the cards.

If you go to the warehouse club to save money, why shouldn't link card peoples be able to as well? We are able to get more stuff using less money just like you.

Then it should be limited to Diapers & necessary food items...not pop & chips & other junk food!!!

There shouldnt be such thing as a link card. Get a job... stop popping out kids. The only way this economy will ever get better is if there is a republic in office.. It will thin out the fat and the free loaders..I dont agree my tax money gets put towards your obama care.. we are in america get blue cross blue shield.

You had a Republican President from 2000-2008.That worked out great for the country. The economy was running worse than Neighbor's Envoy.Be careful what you wish for.

I was in Walmart and there was a couple using a Link card. Both were dressed to the nines, full length leather coats. The woman had her hair all teased up with long fake newly manicured nails. They were both playing on their iphones too. Glad we can all help out. I don't mind lending a helping hand to those truly in need, but when you are dressed better than the majority of the rest of us and have your iphones out while paying with a link card there is something seriously wrong.

That's been going on for many years. I knew a girl who abused the system 15 years ago, and probably still does. Scammers are scammers.

IMO, a Link Card is a Link Card. I have seen too many decent people embarrased by Jewel Cashiers over their purchase choices. It is rediculous trying to have the government control product selection IMO. Do I like abusers? No. But I hate it when the Cashiers at Jewel force Link Card holders to delay lines, create a focus upon them, while the Cashier pulls out those sheets of paper & review the products. More than once I have told the Cashier to put in on my bill and just let the poor kid or lady go. <Yes, it's a peve of mine

I think your talkin about WIC. Those are controlled to the T. You can buy any food excluding hot or premade with food stamps. Buy WIC and thats the sheet that gets pulled out to see if whats being purchased is allowed.

I don't care about people who really need it and I don't like it when cashiers do that to people either. There is a serious abuse of the system however. Link is suppose to be temporary, not a way of life.
