I am interest in purchasing a Carefree lawn sprinkler system and maybe interested in purchasing a mosquito misting system. Have not grown up in this area can someone share their experience with me and would you recommend their systems?

Carefree is very high priced for the poor craftsmanship they do. They tend to not follow your property lines when placing sprinkler heads. So if you put in a fence later your heads may be under the fence or on the other side. Many people people who have had Carefree put in their sprinkler have had to get other companies fix the mistakes and make adjustments. I prefer Andrew McCann Sprinkler company out of Hazel Crest. I believe they have more experience, better prices, quality & stand behind their work. I have never worked for either. I do have a carefree system that McCann has fixed and made much needed improvements.

If you want a good reliable company go with Krupskys lawn sprinklers. Into 12 years with mine and never had one problem.

Carefree is the best and most professional. Also the most expensive. My guess is Joe had his system put in and never planed for a fence. Now he had to pay more money to have things moved that were not planed for..another idiot blaming others for their stupidity.......carefree has come to my house for the past 14 years they turn on and off my system, fix any issues, and show up when they say they are going to show up. We also didn't plan for our built in pool but carefree re worked our system around the pool and worked well with the landscaper and pool guy as to not cross paths and hold up the production......don't know about the others

I also have a sprinkler system installed by carefree, didn't do a good job of placing heads I use it every other day in the summer and with this drought my lawn really doesn't look to much better than the guy next door without a sprinkler system I have many brown spots do to poor coverage I really need to have another company come out and evaluate/fix the problem areas. I also stopped using them for start up/shutdown on several occasions on start up I find a zone or two not working so I fixed them myself and also had freeze ups causing split lines so the shutdown process wasn't always down correctly either so basically moved on to another company hope you have better luck than I did I wish I had went with the system from Krupsky I heard very good things from people that have that system.

Carefree is not good, neighbors have them and its bad. Krupsky is all self maintained they don't have to come out to close down system or start it up, it is done very easily my yourself and everything is underground. I had estimates from both and Krupsky was more money but very well worth every penny. When krupsky comes out they will give you a list of homeowners to call and ask them about there service and I did call many and all were very pleased. Pay a little more and get Krupsky.

Krupske is the way to go as stated they are self draining and don't require a company to blow the lines out in the fall. Better heads are used and the service is top notch. Don't waste your time with the other companies do it right the first time.

I would NOT suggest Carefree Sprinker Systems for Anything. I have repeated problems with my system. Moreover, don't believe anything they tell you about their mosquito systems, they do not work! My neighbor went with Krupsky's system and loves it.

I have had a Krupske / TORO system for 15 years....NOT ONE PROBLEM....more than 50% of homeowners in our neighborhood have their system....We wonder why the others did not get one...System is self draining.....so you do not need to pay $50-$100 to get it blown out every fall. And unless you are a complete IDIOT you can shut it down and start it up by yourself.....Take the time to call them up and talk with them....

You must work for Carefree. When it self drains at the end of the season you turn each zone on for 5 minutes and it drains out the system underground. YOU DON'T LOOSE WATER idiot. When carefree comes out there blowing out the system same thing but Krupsky is the best and easiest. So who is the MORON? you!
BTY its done all underground and the water that is coming out is the water left in the system so it don't freeze up in the winter. You don't know what you are talking about, so go back under a rock!

My husband and I had a carefree system put in 6 years ago and are extremely unhappy. Our backyard always has brown patches that are never watered. We have to run a sprinkler to hit these areas. We have had carefree out to try and fix the problem to no avail. I feel we are either watering the sidewalk or our neighbors lawns. Bad system!

We bought a used home a few years ago, but it was built in 2006 and had the sprinkler system put in the same year by carefree. I am not impressed at all with the design/layout/installation. There are a significant number of areas that do not get much water at all. Several lines in the backyard are less than 3" below the surface! Most of our neighbors use Krupsky and are VERY happy with their service. I for one would not use carefree based on my own experience, let alone seeing others' experiences.

I hope the owners of carefree run down to the courthouse and grab a court order to preserve all ip addresses and supenea every bit of info you dumbasses commented on and expose your negative slanderous comments ,that are obviously other irrigation companies, and sue your pants off. My first guess would be Krupse irrigation. Pretty obvious

Krup your a polack! You could not Handel all problems from all your customers if they called you at once! Carefree has a army, smaller yes but GOOD! No I don't work for carefree I just hate a holes bad mouthing a company that has been very successful and is a business in New Lenox that supports the community.....all started because you din't plan properly and you had to spend more Money.......take your peanut, light bulb, and Groucho glasses and nose and stick them up your a s s ! Remember it's a lawn sprinkler system not a race car that has been constructed.....again it's a sprinkler system LOL. Get a life

After completig 2 months of research including BBB reviews, I went with Carefree Sprinklers. I like the fact that they include a preventation maintenance program with their shut-downs and start-up procedures. I would strongly recommend Carefree Sprinklers again.

WOW you can take my IPS I don't care. Im a very happy customer with Krupsky. I have neighbors that have carefree systems and they are not happy. I'm speaking for myself and over 15 years I have not one issue with my toro system. I think you are stating these other happy customers are the owner posting. I can tell you that they are just happy Krupsky customers who are giving there input.
