I hope he wins and hopefully this will send a strong message to party politicians that they need to represent the people and not their parties!!

What a very uniformative article. I had to go to google to find some info on this guy. http://www.deatonforsenate.com/ Here's hoping the Dispatch covers this guy equally with the other "major party" candidates. HA! HA! I think I'll give myself a funny face icon for that one.

If he's a tax-and-spend, government-worshipping grandstander, Voinovich will probably endorse him.

You definitely have our attention. Looking forward to hearing your position on a number of issues, especially our freedom and liberty. The time is ripe to end control of our government by "the party" (Dems/Reps: only different by a matter of a few degrees; but both taking us down the wrong path).

Wow...sounds like the "real deal". He's got my support. I think he should run for president.

Yes, just what we need...another 'God-fearing Christian'(from his web site) with no political experience trying to run real things based on personal, blind faith! Exactly the reason why we're in this mess to begin with. Bush appointed people based on their 'faith' not their experience and skills. Go America!

A true Independent does NOT need the crutch of religion to fuel his/her ideas mostly GREAT IDEAS is what is needed now. Obama AND Bush are idealogs and are similar in their strategies and independent needs to rise above all of that....
