wow i grew up in natron heights and sheldon park as bad then i moved away in 1986 to enlist in the army, but still have family in the heights, i did not know it was that bad

wow!!! i grew up in natrona heights and graduated from highlands high, sheldon park was pretty bad back then. I moved away in 1986 to enlist in the army but still have family in the heights. i did not know it was that bad, it is just ashame that the police dept is across the street and they still let the drug activity go on. and whats even worse my mother and father both grew up in Natrona Heights and said back then that sheldon park was a really nice place to live. What 40 years does to an area. WOW!!!

Does anyone know what happened to the Melody restaurant that was on 4th between 9th and 10th? I was by there a few years ago and that whole building is gone, with a small one lot park there now.

Did it go out of business first? It used to be real busy.

Years ago I lived above the restaurant, in the 1960's.
