Funny I had the story about the tape recorder right when it happened. That story was so fake that is why you never showed it to anyone but your lil croonies who believed you.
I had told MrsC, that it was fake but she didn't want to admit what she knew.
Oh and Fred we might of had a beer over the conversation. But we both behaved and didn't let the beer go any farther. Not that you wouldn't of wanted to buy beer for her awhile back.
You probably still got the hots for her.
It was heard by the city attorney, city prosecutor, mayor and all councilmen. Nothing fake

oh MANNNN!
Rusty was my hero that day.
He followed orders and did his job like a pro.

Won't ever forget the day he tried to scare me at Exxon!
I just smiled and said thank you while I ducked under his arm as he held the door open and looked at me with those crossed eyes of his.

more tax dollars wasted wrote:
more tax dollars wasted on these that should be taught that at home by age 3 should you not be spending this money on O C S to take these kids out of these homes they are not taught 123 red white and blue. Or on Health Care
According to the newspaper article, "These days, 5-year-old kids are expected to walk into the kindergarten classroom already knowing the alphabet, the names of colors and how to count to 20, among other things. Those who don't know those basic things are already at risk for being left behind."

I agree with you - most kids do know all these things before they enter kindergarten.

But if the LA Dept of Education is going to require the kids know this before entering kindergarten, they need to modify the current curriculum for teachers who teach kindergarten. For example, kindergarten math curriculum has seven units. Three of the seven address counting to 20. If kids are expected to know this already, math education curriculum should not drop to having only 4 units but instead should be augmented with more advanced math education.

leap testing is sumthing that should not be in schools if you can take GOD out of schools why not leap testing. You are putting sum one with skills an sum one that needs the extra attn for studys in same class rooms for what reason neither get proper teaching and you want to spend more tax dollars to teach 1 2 3. This is not blending traditional wisdom and teaching. How much more will you put on teachers most have to spend out of pocket just to have the ones left behind to have paper, pencils to even get started what happens to all this welfare money that is given to these familys for their kids selling codes of food stamp cards whats that about the paper trail did not work they fine ways to beat the system and their kids go with out who is checking on our tax dollars spent on welfare. GIVE THE MONEY TO THE TEACHERS OR HEALTH CARE SYSTEM IN OUR STATE THIS IS A WASTED IDEA.

Just cause the poster typed GOD haha you think it was an intelligent comment. dang you stupppppid and must not have read the other words other than GoD
If religion is allowed back in schools, then teachers can shove their own personal beliefs down children's throats, and I have a feeling that would cause a whole lot of problems
would it be okay if your child or grandchild's teacher was a Muslim and his/her religion was how the classroom was run? Of course not. why just MUSLIM and not,Catholic, Baptist, Methodest, ooo last CHRISTIAN
Whoa, back up the school bus! You do not know me, nor my intentions with my original post. Using the Muslim religion was an EXAMPLE. Do you know what an example is? The reason I chose to use the Muslim religion as my example is because so many of the people who I have had this discussion with would be appalled by their child having a Muslim teacher (or any teacher not of their religion actually). After all the controversy revolving around President Obama's religion of choice, it's obvious many wouldn't want the Muslim God being in their child's classroom. I used it as an example, because it actually makes those who keep saying God needs to be put back in schools think about what all that would entail. You do realize that no matter which religion I chose as my example,*someone* would have taken issue with it, right?

As for myself, I believe that each person is on their own individual spiritual path, and that is the reason there are so many different religions. I don't believe anyone has the right to judge another person's spiritual path. So do NOT say I was being racist or judging Muslims. That can not be any further from the truth.

In addition, I work with preschool children, and I LOVE all of my children, no matter what their religion, race, home life, or anything else. I have had many conversations with coworkers that feel their religion should be allowed in the classroom. Yet when a child of a different religion is in their room, they had negative things to say about the family's religious preferences. I don't believe that is right. Hence, why I KNOW it would be a problem if God was allowed back in school. Again I wonder, just which God are people referring to, and if God was allowed back in school, would they be okay with EVERYONE'S God being allowed back.

First of all, if you think Preschool is babysitting, you are showing you don't have a clue what goes on in schools anymore. Preschool children now learn what used to be taught in Kindergarten and the first grade. Secondly, I never expressed a "view" on Muslims. Perhaps, you need a lesson in reading comprehension. Or do you just argue to make yourself feel better? It's obvious to me you don't reply to show off your intelligence, so it must be to show your ignorance. I wasn't expressing a view on President Obama either, but until you learn to comprehend what you are reading, you will continue to see things that were not said. I prefer to have intelligent conversations with people. I do not have time for petty people who name call and accuse others of saying things they did not say.

Oh my goodness, the "term" Muslim is name calling? Are you kidding me? It's the name of a religion! And if you practice it, then you are a Muslim. Just as you are a Christian if you practice Christianity. Keep replying, you just keep providing *proof* you have NOTHING intelligent to add to the conversation. Frankly, the four and five year olds in my class are capable of having a more intelligent conversation than you seem to be.

actually, I think you made a good argument against letting God back into the schools. My opinion differed from yours but I can see where I may have been wrong.

Thanks for sharing.
