Unbelievable, the legislators approved in committee a 4% pay raise. These guys already make $115,000.00!!! That's outrageous!! I wonder if good ole Lawrence pays himself the maximum? This is another example of wasteful spending. Their salaries should be based on the population of the parish in which they are elected to serve or decided by the people that elected them not the legislators.

They should be paid based on performance an what they bring to the community. Not based on just being a elected official

That's why not take some of that an invest it to help the community instead of in there pockets
