Port Of Iberia Traffic Congestion

My hubby works on Curtis Lane at the Port of Iberia, after Bayou Pipe. He is so aggravated with the traffic congestion each and every day
in front of Bayou Pipe. These are 18 wheelers
there to haul pipe out of the yard. They are parked on both sides and way down the street.
They leave one lane of traffic to pass thru, so
you must always have your eyes opened to make sure you don't hit a driver walking to and from Bayou Pipe. Not only this, the mud tracked onto
the road is aweful and so dangerous, that you can't even see the line that is in the middle.
This is an accident waiting to happen. How can they be allowed to do this? How come Bayou Pipe doesn't make a road inside their gates to keep this off of the busily traveled road?
