This is a terrific neighborhood. I can't believe it. Well it just shows that this can happen anywhere even in a quiet street and place.

that area's closer to the nassau border.
it's just the outerboro garbage moving in closer.
time to close the county borders, we have had enough. look at what happened to parts of nassau and suffolk already. it's not going to be long before shoot-outs happen on a daily basis around here.
turn the clock back 20 years and we wouldn't be having these problems. i wonder why?

there are parts of nassau county and suffolk county that are just as bad as parts of queens. you cant just close the boarder to nassau and think trouble wont get there. and believe it or not half of the trouble is amongst these wealthy kids in long island who have nothing better to do with their money other than buy drugs. turn the clock back 20 years, that i cant disagree with. shoot-outs can happen anywhere and at anytime. there was a shootout in floral park about a week ago and thats nassau county, there was a shoot out about 2 years ago at stop and shop in new hyde park once again nassau county .. so how are you going to say that its because were in the city. people like you are a bunch of judgemental morons who do not know a thing about what REALLY goes on in your own neighborhood amongst the younger generation.

i already stated that these things are already happening in nassau and suffolk county, just not as much as in the outboro's (yet).
yes, crime does happen everyday, everywhere.
it's not just floral park, nhp, etc (even thou they are close to the city border).
as far as being a judgemental moron in my town, i know what goes on. as far as drug dealing and crime in my neighborhood, i can tell you what kind of kids are bringing this stuff in and where they are from. would you like to guess?
when these kids usually get caught after they do their acts, they are MOSTLY, not ALL, but MOSTLY from brooklyn, queens, bronx.
they come to LI to commit their crimes because there are more opportunities here than where they live, a better class of people to rob and screw with.

I see here that the vicitim was from St. Albans, NOT Glen Oaks. I think that is telling. The problem is not with Glen Oaks, it does appear to be a nice neighborhood. This was an execution, and I am sure it is not from any dealings the victim (who appears to have a long criminal record himself) has in Glen Oaks. I don't see many people walking around Glen Oaks with full automatics, but someone from St. Albans wouldn't surprise me in the least.
Nice car by the way, an SRT8 Grand Cherokee... 425 HP, AWD... wonder if they are selling it now. Probably leased though...3283

Why not consider living here in Colorado?
