If it weren't for the loonies, it would be perfect. But you'll run into those anywhere, so I guess it's as good as it will get.

McKinney is awesome -- no homeless people or crack-heads in front of the stores, no graffiti, clean and green. People should stop complaining or move somewhere else. Schools are excellent too.

My server is routed through several different states -- I've been living in McKinney for the last 4 years by way of Los Angeles. Trust me, you have nothing to complain about when it comes to how our city is run or quality of life in McKinney.

Hey Nick-Charles,

Do you live in Mckinney?

If yes, why?

If no, why the constant griping?

It's not that hard to escape "the armpit", is it?

"Armpit" isn't hyphenated, Nick. Just while we are talking about eloquence and stuff that is so hysterically funny and all.

Do you live in McKinney?

Have you been arrested?

Why so sad?

McKinney, is lovely, the absolute best city in North Texas, and else where, its educated, its safe, clean, and friendly. Its just all around a very plesant place to be, I can't really think of anywhere else I would rather live

Safe? In recent months I have to disagree; I have had my vehcile vandalized twice and no one seems to ever see or do anything about it. SWAT raided someone below me in my apartments as well as neighbors fighting asking "oh youre going to shoot me?" - and I live in a so-called nice area! The schools seem to be ok, in comparison to others I have seen. It's too bad too cause its convenient to alot of things.

Let's see McKinney ranked in the top ten percent worst polluted towns in the U.S. Number four in the state. Seriously ill folks in the east side from the copper foundry and airport. Destroying trees by the thousands. Recycling sewer water for drinking water. You know you don't have to drink it to get the harmons, cancer drugs , chemicals that arnt'e removed and are just building up. Just take a bath in it and let the skin absorb them. Yep McKinney is fantastic.

Suggest you talk to City Councilwoman Garza, ask about the number of Downs Syndrome babies in a one block area, and the large number of cancers and children with learning difficulties in McKinney , as well as respertory concerns that go to school nurses. Look at the number of medical facilities being built in McKinney. Think maybe they build them where the business is.

It has been proven all over the world that fish that live below sewer tratment plants are developing abnormal sex organs. Just Google (deformed fish} NTMWD dunps it's treated sewer effulent directly into Lake Lavon then picks it up to be treated for drinking water. They will admit that they do NOT remove all of the medications that is passed through the human system into the sewer. Are you sure it is safe for your children to drink or take a bath in it?

As far as pollution just check hhtp://scorecard.org/ or any EPA information. It is typical, in McKinney, to try to discredit the source or lie about the facts, rather than to fix them.

If the airport is a problem why is the area around DFW, that would be southlake and Flower Mound, so high end. If any children have problems where is it coming from, you say the water, where do you think Allen gets its water. Plano Richardson Garland and on and on.
