Stark Aerospace is a FARCE. Up to now, they have only put out one single UAV,and that was completely built in Israel by the mother company IAI. It was built, broken down, boxed up then shipped to MS. where a crew of IAI specialists that followed it here came and completely reassembled it. Stark Aerospace is trying to convince MS. that it is the latest and the greatetest in the UAV field, but other than displaying a pre-built ship and making half hearted and totally failed attempts at Hunter UAV wings, there is nothing worthwhile coming out of that facility. Up to this point,EVERYTHING that they have produced as a stand alone entity (with zero help from the Israelis) has been a bust. All of the wing assemblies they have built and shipped out to field units have failed miserably and have had to be returned for extensive "warranty work".
Add to that,Stark initially hired seasoned, experienced technicians to set up the shop and start the initial work process, but then decided that retaining the experience and producing top notch, high quality products was far less important than paying and keeping an under-qualified,tactless idiot as the production supervisor.
As soon as IAI finishes this experiment, they will once again be in sole charge of the UAV industry.
It has been mentioned and I have been told personally by a number of high ranking IAI visitors, dignitaries and supervisors that this is just an attempt to show the world that IAI is trying it's level best to team up with an American company and become a unified,multi-nation powerhouse in this market.
In reality, this is just a show and a political gamble and lie. By them complaining about budget costs, providing sub-par materials and documentation, altering proven and known good engineering drawings to "make it work",running off skilled technicians and retaining the unskilled and unknowing,IAI can put out bad products(Under Stark Aerospace's name)and claim the whole "We tried to have it MADE IN AMERICA,but it just didn't work" theory and totally regain their sole ownership of this endeavor and be the one and only source for the highly coveted UAV products they make, sell and service. Lets face it....The Israelis ARE NOT STUPID. Why would they choose a bunch of hayseed Mississppi dirt farmers to build war machines knowing AND steadily seeing those efforts fail on so many levels?????

Since you make personal attacks on the citizens of Mississippi, I would say you must be somewhat disgruntled by a result of your own dimise. Perhaps, in the near future those "hayseed" farmers will be producing superior products significantly lower than your overpriced ego. Perhaps I will take my B2, F18, and F35 background down there and help those dirt farmers out :) I am not the best, but pretty well known for delivering on customer expectations. Come on back, and I will get you on the right path.

hayseed dirt farmers? Not really. There are a bunch of retired military in this area. The same guys who have been protecting your right to spew fertilizer from the mouth. If they are playing ashell game with the UAVs it's a shame, but what ever it takes to get the fielded fighting the war. By the way what is a dirt farmer? I didn't know dirt grew on trees.

Tired Of The Lies - Out of curiosity, how did you come to this conclusion? Its not only that I am skeptical of blogging in a personally unaccountable forum, its also that I know some people banking on Stark's success in the area in thats not been the local reputation.
1) Did you or do you have direct ties to Malat, IAI or Stark to give you insight?
2) Or do you have ties to the UAV Industry/Military side of the UAV industry?
3) Were you one of the skilled tech's they let go (doent necessarily mean your point of view is unjust)
4) Perhaps you are with Boeing in Mesa?
This is just meant to add verity to your statements, not as a challenge to it
As far as hayseeds, most of the people working there I know about came from other places. The ad hominem tone somewhat detracts from the specifics you included about the current PM and how the prototype was built.
Non-response will conclude a spin job in my mind.
