Tom Allan, vice president and chief operations officer of Cass Cable, passed out business cards bearing his personal cell phone number at the Mason City City Council meeting Monday night, urging subscribers to call him directly with their concerns.

cass cable is not any better in kilbourne bath havana, there is always channels that do not come in or have a poor signal..., it's almost time to go to dish....

I agree that Cass has some quality issues, but that will never change because they have the only able company in the area. They don't have to deal with any competition in the local market so they have no need to hold quality as a standard. We deal with a cut and paste local advertisements through the cable channels that look like a third rate job. Same goes for the so called fast internet. I think that a lot of things need to be updated and fixed to go along with the price increases that we have had over the years. If Tom wants to hear the complaints of his customers have him send a business card out with all of the cable bills to all of the customers and get feedback and then he will see that quality needs to improve. And then he can take pride in the product he is offering

I know it cost more to have it, but you would be amazed the how just having the cable going thru a DVR box they rent that enables you to also get HDTV. You have to purchase those HDMI cable with a DVI adapter for the newer tv's but the picture quality is well worth it and still cheaper than dish. It also improves the regular channels. Found this out when I tried running the cable directly into my Tv, when I curious how the quality of the piture would be without it.
Still think they should make these DVR boxes so they can be purchased instead of being stuck paying rent month after month and after awhile you've more than paid the purchase price of one of these boxes.
Still find even with the increases in price that Cable is a better deal. I can only imagine how long it would take someone from the dish outfits to come out and fix something. A friend of mine has the basic packages with a dish company and they pay close to $70.00 per month.
I've had problems with Cass Cable, but they bend over backwards to get out and fix any problems. I've considered switching at times to dish but from what I hear you can't get the Cardinal games , so I'm sticking with Cass!

I also noticed that most of the cable channels and the internet were off and on again today...

And they advertised a fast internet connection on cable internet. 1.89 mb/s download and 0.2 mb/s upload speed is far from fast.

yeah i was trying to watch tv today and once again the channels kept going out,, it does this quit often... sick of cass cable and their over priced poor quality of service....

cable and tv went out yesterday evening around 6 and was out all night. Did anyone eles's cable and cable internet go out and stay out all night?

Luckily I had a DVD to watch!

We have had the same over here. Cable has been cutting out over here all day long. Then it was out all night over here but back on when I got home from work.

my internet went out, but the cable would just go out for a little while all day yesterday and all night last nite, i agree if we only get service half the time we should only have to pay half of the bill... cass cable needs to get a clue.... when you pay $86.oo a month and that's just basic cable and internet you should be getting good quality service...

Made me feel better after my internet was off this morning. Got my bill later and it well than made up for all my troubles.

I was happy to see when I got my bill that I got a $60.00 discount for all my troubles. Made me happy. Plus got a HD Tier bundle and still save $7.90 per month, when before I didn't have the HD Tier. Extra service , plus save money, can't beat that.

I see that nothing has changed, bad cable connection, channels cutting in and out, slow internet speeds and I mean real slow....0.76 mbs download speeds, come one that is about like dial up!
