A 17-year-old boy was arrested, and police were looking for two other suspects in the assault in a Loomis Place home.

It is really time to arm ourselves. This is scarry and just the prelude. These kind of thugs know they will pay a little price if they get caught and they don't care. It is worth the risk to get some cash for drugs or sneakers.

And PLEASE, I really don't care to read someone say....where are the parents? why wasn't he home? The parents in this segment of our society do not care and their kids are the way they are because of them.

The best system you can have is a huge dog or two, and a shotgun, when you break into a house at 3 am and here a 12 gage shell being chambered, you will run for your life, besides, they can lower my dog food bill......

I'm with you 100%. Screw these alarms and motion lights, this is WAR, those guys are so dam quick that they will be gone and at Target before the cops pull in your driveway. There is nothing better that the sound of the 12 gauge slide and click sound...in the dark.

Also, I had a friend who was afraid to own any kind of gun. She slept with an electric chainsaw next to her bed after a break in. Wonder how fast one of those gazelles would run if they heard that at 2:00 AM in the dark? heh heh heh

What is tragic is that modern society has demonized the gun to the point of giving hard criminals the advantage.
