Chiropractor Accused Of Harassment Gets Probation

A judge has granted a special form of probation to a New Haven chiropractor charged with harassment for making a series of crank calls to a Wethersfield stroke victim.

I hope that any license he has to his profession is revoked until trial.

Special Probation?? This nut case should face some type of jail time or asylum time...If it was "Joe Normal" then we would probably be looking at 6 months to a year in jail.This is suppose to be a well educated man. For him to do this was childish and unacceptable.Now we have to face fears of professionals calling our homes and harassing us?? I think not!!

Kate I wish you were right. The court often doles out punishment and places bonds based on specific past and present information..People in CT get 6 months..if even that, for assaulting other people; breaking into homes...etc. CT does little to punish violent repeat offenders who brutalize and butcher us in our communities...never mind addressing harrassment appropriately. If you are a victim in CT be prepared. A man who forcably raped an adolescent under 16 just got two years;serial rapist?20 years;group murder? 18 years; sex offender who purposely fails to register..slap on the wrist...rape of a 6 year old? 4 years...I could go on. In CT, Cops and pistol permits are the only true ways to have any kind of security. CT does not want to build more prisons so instead our prisons and Judicial sytem are basically forced to be release valves..sending offenders back into the communities early because there are so many offenders for the prisons that they often overflow...Our communities are basically prisons w/o the walls and much more freedom..then there's probation...The average citizen has no clue and it stinks as the innocent are often targeted by these predators...I've had a little time to think about this:)
