I think its about time we stop naming things after Officer Joe Corr I mean I know he died in the line of duty but when it came down to things he was not the nice guy that everyone said he was he was a drunk and a hypocrat who used to drink and drive but then arrest people for doing the same thing that he did. He was especally a jerk when he put on that baseball uniform

Really right now?

Why don't you go put on that uniform Dave? Oh thats right, your too much of a whiney little girl to show any sort of respect. Let them name what ever they want to after him. He actually did something significant with his life by trying to make a difference in the lives of the citizens he worked for and unfortunately paid the ultimate price. When you decide to put on that blue uniform and deal with the shit that the streets of this scum hole produce, then you can have an opinion.

Dave, Officer Joseph Corr paid the ultimate price protecting our community. Its a shame that you feel by doing his job as a police officer he was a "jerk". You must have had a few run in's with the law, so if you were a well going citizen you might not have this problem. Joe was a great father husband and son. Hisname should live forever. Joe you are missed dont let the shitbags of the area bother you RIP brother

I agree I'm sorry the guy died in the line of duty , but enough is enough , everything is Joe Corr this , and Joe corr that; let him die already. The police officer's in this area including utica are always being held up on some sort of pedistal , and yet they're all afraid of their own shadows, and yeah next week their will probably be a Joesph Corr Dohnut shop, and Coffee House, then after that a Joseph Corr park , and Joseph Corr spy ring kit. Over it .

I guess maybe if cops spent a little more time serving and protecting and a little less time harassing and generating revenue for a broken system... maybe people would have more sympathy. Personally I get a chubby everytime one of those fat fucks gets a little case of the nut cancer from their radar guns... instant karma's gonna get ya

Hey writing tickets and DWI stops is part of their job most dont like doing it but they are forced to. I like it when they stop for DWI because i have had friends killed. What i did not like about Joe Corr was he use to drive drunk all the time and get away with it. I liked the fact that he did stop for DWi and get people off the street but he was just as guilty as most of the New Hartford police who get drunk and then drive that is the problem i have

further more why are you complaing about things being named after him. what about these 9/11 memorials all over this area 9/11 happened in new york city not in nym, nh, utica or other local towns and citys the memorials should just be where the attacks happened

You really did not know him. By your baseball uniform comment you are a pathetic insecure man who cant take it when someone is better than you. Im sure Joe had his faults but he was a good cop, great father & a damn good ball player,,,now please learn to use spell check,,,,,,,,,,

I knew Joe in elementary and junior high school, and yes, he could be a jerk, but he did have his moments. I'm currently married to the military, and we have to remember that all these people are doing their part in some way to protect us. Whether it be at home, or overseas, they protect us. But you also have to remember, during this time, his family is/was grieving. A woman lost her husband, a little girl lost her daddy, and a man and woman lost their son. Those of you that have nothing but bad things to say about him remind me of that stupid church that I had to deal with in Kansas. You know, the one that protests at soldier's funerals? Put yourself in the shoes of the people that are most affected by this, and remember that they can read this.
