My son, currently works there. Everything is microwaved, and not set to health code standards. I don't know if I should believe him, his last job was at applebees. He would never lie to me, and If this is true I don't know if I want him working there anymore. Does anyone know?

They don't wear gloves, sanitizers, what's that. No bleach in the place whatsoever. Cooks never wash their hands, and they microwave everything. Lets not forget to mention the rodent infestation, and the dishes that are never washed, that sit in the sink all day and are just sprayed off, and are then given to customers. Oh wait, they recycle food too. Patti Rizzo is a trash ball. I'm reporting them to the health department. Anyone who reads this message should do the same. They give New Hartford a bad name....

To all of those who wonder about this place, here is the truth. I worked there for a short time and there is truly a wall of microwaves. There was never any use of gloves while prepping food. The owner is a complete b*tch, and they pay employees under the table ( I bet the government would love that!). I will never set foot in that establishment again and I recommend that everyone else does the same!

jonz does not have fajitas because they do not fry anything but if you are looking for anything close to mexican or california-mexican style you should try them out at 470 french rd south utca, ny 13502 just under the bridge from home depot on left next to the Black Cat Restaurant..

Well, I also have a friend that works there and he also says that this place is very unhealthy and gross. No one washes their hands, and everything is poorly prepped.

Casa is a superb restaurant. The food is always delicious and fresh no matter what I order. The BBQ ribs are to die for as is her fish fry that was voted #1 by the way. Patti is a wonderful owner/hostess, she knows her customers by name and is well respected by her staff. Casa is always well maintained. If you want a good meal i recommend you ignore this bucket of lies forget taco bell or burrito jonz and head to Casa!

the place is a complete dump- ever take a real good look around- the floor is disgusting and the tables are dirty. One day i was in there and every table had dirty dishes and food splattered all over them it was gross- it was not even a rush hour. There food also stinks and they don't pay there bills- the owners never pay their restaurant food deliveries and they owe people money! Go somewhere else to eat this place is worth skipping!

I have been going there since it was on Oneida Street in Utica. It was owned by Roger, Carol and Patti. I have never had a bad meal. If it is so bad and with all the Health department concerns, why is it still open. Yes they use the microwaves, but if you do not like it do not eat there. Have you ever heard anyone getting sick? Health Code violations? I didn't think so.

I worked there when it was across the street in 1982 i think. You were allowed to eat but you had to make it yourself. I made my burrito to large and was fired.

you dont need to wear gloves if the food is not cooked only with food that is ready to eat. but when i go to a restaurant i want my food cooked on a grill not in a dam microwave!!!
