Nightmare in New Hartford is the scrariest haunted house in Upstate New York. I went to the haunted theater in Paris and the Cayo Industrial on broad st. Two 15 and 16 year olds in front of me were sreaming I want to go back.

we were going to go to cayo industrial last night. and we were told it opened at 6, so we got there at 530, and were the first people there. but we waited until 630 and someone came out side and said none of the actors were there yet because they were all over at someones house eating dinner. so i got pissed off and we went home. we'll try again next week but at a later time.

with nothing else to do on a sunday night, a friend and i headed to cayo industrial for the 2nd year in a row...happy it was on broad st and not in herkimer. waited in line for what seemed like forever because maybe the actors were on break...then went thru...definitely better than last year but the smells and fog they use just really irritate your senses...then headed to nightmare in new hartford. told the people we just came from broad st and the red robed creepy dude was like "that's elementary school scary...are you ready to step up to grade school?" wow. definitely a scary heart racing experience, and i liked that you didnt have to wait for a group to proceed...needless to say i got to the end, saw the light of the parking lot and RAN down the ramp out of breath. a must do if you like to be spooked!

The Cayo Industrial was ok but wasent as good as any other year. There is a lot more scaryer hunted houses than that one but it was still pritty good. Nice job Cayo People!!!

My daughter and 5 of her friends visited the haunted house Saturday, October 30 and all paid for their admission. 4 of them changed their minds and did not even enter the haunted house. They asked for their money back, each paid $10. (even though the web site stated $8 with school ID, which they had). The manager Mr.Mexico refused to give them their $$ back, even though there is nothing posted saying no refunds. Way to go Mr. Mexico...stealing from children. I would never recommend going to your haunted house to anyone.
