You have been watching way too much FOX network. This is an unbelievable mentality. Keep in mind that not all (in fact very few)immigrants are criminals. The press is responsible for sensationalizing those very few crimes committed by undocumented Immigrants. Here in Arizona there are 45, 000 outstanding felony warrants and the person in charge of pursuing and arresting those felons is focused on setting up roadblocks and capturing any where from 2 to 10 undocumented Immigrants with no prior criminal record who work at places like McDonalds or landscaping jobs. The resources utilized are outrageous and the net gain is minimal at best. We have to focus on true crime. We have to focus on better intelligence in order to prevent further attacks on our country. The Border is and will always be porous as it has been since these countries were formed. It is the same everywhere. Believe me, terrorist will not come in through the border transported by a Human Smuggler and risk death or being caught. The Terrorists will fly right into our airports with very legal paperwork purchased directly from our corrupt embassy officials. We are in dire need of Comprehensive Immigration Reform. No that does not just mean a blanket amnesty. It means a revamping of USCIS as we know it now. Do you realize it takes ten to fifteen years to obtain a legal visa to come to this country? It is no wonder why these frustrated Immigrants come over the border in search of a better life. If we fixed the immigration system we would have better control of our borders. Additionally, you and I know that we are in dire economic times. If we stop to realize that since we started pursuing the immigrant and took their jobs away, the economy started to fail. They abandoned their mortgages and their car payments. They pulled their money out of our banks and the supposed mortgage industry bubble burst. Bush should have kept his stimulus checks. What did that do for our country? Nothing!!! In fact the Immigrant is the stimulus. They are cash spenders. It's a no brainer. We desperately need low skilled labor in order to make our industries function. The Immigrant infuses cash into our economy and that allows for businesses to prosper which allows for the native worker to rise into lead and supervisory positions which in turn creates more production, more export and more import. "Free Trade Prospers". The Immigrant is the base of our country. When will closed minded citizens open their eyes and realize that by being anti-immigrant they are shooting themselves in the foot.

True my friend "conspiracy figther".You're right in the matter and certainly the new administration should,in the meantime,smooth the process to legalize those immigrants that still in the darkness,Iam talking of about 12 million persons,who could probably change the whole situation in the U.S.These immigrants already help the economy and could do it more by spending in real state,traveling,investing,tech nology,bussiness etc.And being realistic now it's the right thing,the change has arrived,I never could imagine how the west coast said the last word in the election 2008.Ignoring this factor will lead to ignore your real identity in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
