Azle hospital receives Level IV Trauma Center designation

Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Azle was designated a Level IV Trauma Center by the Texas Department of State Health Services.

Never go to the Azle Hospital if you think you are having a heart attack. Call 911 for an ambulance or call CareFlite. Either one will bypass the Azle Hospital. You will not make it out of the emergency room unless CareFlite makes it there to take care of you. Everyone in Azle and surrounding areas should know this information. Again, NEVER go to the Azle Hospital if you think you are having a heart attack. This is life saving information that everyone should know. This is from very personal experience.

My dad went through the very same thing. In fact he works close to downtown Fort Worth and asked me to take him to Azle (close to home), they flew him back to Fort Worth after careflight showed up AND of course the Azle firefighters had to wheel him from the hospital to the chopper!?

It only cost him an extra $3,000 or $5,000 for that helicopter ride! lol

He was okay thank god!
