Savvy Chic Bags does NOT carry and has NEVEER carried "knock-offs", "replica bags" or whatever you want to call them. We carry very high-quality fashion handbags and designer inspired handbags. Since you are apparently are not familiar with the accurate definition of designer inpired --although that has not stopped you from attemping to maliciously malign my business, let me explain to you what it actually means. First of all, the term designer inspired is often mis-represented to mean "knock-offs" because most people who sell knock-offs describe them as "designer inpired," but that is definitely NOT what they are. Designer inspired means exactly what it says--the design is based upon current designer trends. True desginer inspired bags will never be exact replicas of any designer bags; they will not contain designer logos, and they will not have any designer tags or identification of any kind. To help you further understand designer inpired, think about cars. For example, virtually all car manufacturers make SUV's. Many styles are very similar to other manufacturers styles, but each has its own specific style designs that make it different from it's competitors. Do you consider all SUVs "knock-offs" of the original SUV produced? Of course not. When fashion TV programs show you how to achieve a particular designer look by purchasing a similar looking and less expensive outfit at a discunt store such as Target, do you consider these items to be "knock-offs?" Probably not. Are we wearing "knock-offs" whenever we wear shoes? Someone originally created the very first pair of shoes, so according to your flawed logic, all shoes produced by anyone other than the original shoe maker are "knock-offs." Thank you, we really appreciate that. We feel exactly as you do about the reprehensible practice of selling knock-off items of any kind, and Savvy Chic Bags will never endulge in that type of business practice. If you read the "About Us" section of our website, you will see that I link to the "Purse Forum" so that women can learn the facts about recognizing true designer bags, if they are so inclined. I apologize if I was insulting to you in any way, it's just that so often people walk by our display in the Strip District and carelessly state that are bags are "knock-offs", without really knowing what that means. As someone in the business, you know that type of comment is very insulting to legitimate purse retailers, so when it happens I generally take a moment to explain to them why our bags are not knock-offs. I have no doubt my company would be much more profitable if we did sell them, but we leave that illegal and unethical practice to others.
