York, PA - In a move that surprised city administrators and even the council member who cast the deciding vote, York City Council rejected a $880,000 contract Tuesday night for renovations to York's new city hall.

I believe it is time for Mayor Bracy to as city administrator Michael O'Rourke to move on before he is fired!!!

OK,$880k is to much for renovations they say. A lil too late, they own the building which was a smart investment since they bought for 1/2 its original market value before the market crashed. It puzzles me that after all that money is spent to purchase a property, someone thinks WAITING will make the renovation price decline? WRONG

Let's see, five million in grant money we are not going to get, Renovations almost double what was budgeted, fifty thousand as year in lost tax money now that the building is off the tax rolls,..... Oh sorry i was just calculating my tax bill for next year.
