Police chief, supporters plan to fight termination
A source tells abc27 News that Fairview Township Police Chief Scott Hockenberry was fired over a picture taken of him with a topless woman.

Chiefs have SEPARATE contracts with townships and these contracts mke them an at will employee. The typical officer has more job protection than a chief does. If Hockenberry violated any terms of his separate contract agreement , regardless of the public's opinion of what he did....he can be fired.
Like it it not , morality still counts. He is the head of a Law Enforcement Agency and has a responsibility to maintain a higher standard. He knew that.
He can join former CIA Director in the poor judgment category.
