Not thrilled with layout of newly redone Main Street

While I like the fresh and clean appearance of roadwork on Main Street I really don't like what they did with the curb design. Having these peninsulas with flower pots jutting out into the street at almost every entrance to a driveway or a street is a bit much. Iit actually makes the road look visually archaic as you drive down it. Also I bet we will be seeing alot of damaged curbs and flowerpots as cars and trucks will be constantly hitting them when they are turning into these roads and driveways since they will need more clearance to make the turns to clear them, especially the large trucks.
This design idea should have been though out better before going with it. Just going with the flowerpots on the corners but without the peninsulas would have still looked nice and not infringed on the road.
