The citzens and streets would be much safer if the cameras were covertly placed on the bridges and main routes into the city.

The midnight riders have no business, except illicit business, to be cruising into the city at late night.

Traffic Cameras are illegal because they violate your rights. You have the right to confront your accuser and you cannot do that with a camera. Pictures can be faked. The company who runs the cameras earn a profit and then the government earns a profit from every case that a person ends up paying. There is motive there to fake the pictures. If I ever got a camera ticket, I would fight it because I know I will win. Everyone else should do the same. By the way, I retired from Law Enforcement with over 24 years of service.

Cameras are only good if somone can respond to an incident quicker because it was seen on a live video feed.

Cameras should never replace the policman on the street!

It would make more sense to train the cameras on specific high-crime spots.

Cameras are a great idea, unless you're a thug or some moron who thinks cameras are an invasion of your privacy and a violation of your precious rights..... If you are not doing anything wrong, you have no worries.

Put them at the major intersections too, as obviously officers cannot be everywhere at the same time. I see knuckleheads blowing red lights, stop signs, etc..... Get 'em

Sometimes I think there are too many useless stop signs.

The two seasonal ones at the Duck Pond sure saved a lot of ducks crossing the road to visit the fire station parking lot or on their way to the Deli store to pick up some duck soup.
