It starts at the top. The upper floors of the justice center that is. When criminals and public servants are absolved from legal responsibility for their crimes because they are friends with or know something on public officials the rest of us are denied due process of the law. We are denied justice. It is flaunted in our face publicly when the very persons who have taken oaths to uphold our Constitution, our law enforcement officers, are caught red handed, exposed to the public and still not prosecuted "because it would look bad on local law enforcement." Well guess what, it already does look bad and its looking even worse when City and County elected officials conspire to claim that crimes against public administration haven't been committed therefore no termination of bad employees should take place. 6 local law officers (1 former) arrested in one year? A slew more under investigation? And some are saying "no laws have been broken"? When a law officer offers to abuse authority in return for a personal favor that isn't against the law? Shouldn't it be?

IC 35-44-1-1

(7) being a witness or informant in an official proceeding or investigation, solicits, accepts, or agrees to accept any property, with intent to:

(C) absent the person from the proceeding or investigation to which the person has been legally summoned;

I'll admit you wrote a very nice post. You make many claims in your post. Yet, we have no details. All we have are generic claims of corruption. Have you contacted the proper authorities with your claims? Or have you just come on here to practice your writing skills?

Yes. I am practicing my writing skills for the day when I REALLY go public with what I HAVE shared with the proper authorities. Back room bribery deals with local criminals and racketeers, blind eyes to corruption, etc. You'll hear more soon enough. I'm sure my part is insignificant though compared to the rolls others will play. In the end, the GOOD people of this community will get justice.

Been there, seen that. If people only knew.
The only way this can be corrected is by outside investigators.

One of the investigations will probably be on the state level.

I hope it ALL comes out. I don't care how many judges, cops-you name it. This sh#t has gone on far too long. It's time to flush these crooks down the toilet and maybe something good may happen for New Castle. Until we get rid of the crooked scum, we can expect more of the same.

Are all the illegal poker halls paying police to turn thier cheek?..I bet some Christmas mornings are being ruint because of gambling addiction and money loss. Seams like every Friday night there is a game on Broad across from the church and now a game on Indiana ave, across from Hoosier Daddy's bar.
