The Evans cemetery is probably the most haunted in the county. The former owner of the hardware store in Mt Summit was supposedly buried with all of his money and gold. Sometime in the late 19th century, trying to get the gold, ghouls tried to remove his 12 inch thick vault lid which weighed about two ton causing one end of it to fall into his grave pit, It is still in that condition today.
He has beeen upset ever since because the 1st Sherrif of Henry County, Jesse Healey, is buried about five feet south of his grave and wouldn't get involved with the vandalism. They say you can still hear the mumbling and arguing to this day.
Happy Halloween!

Head north on State Road 3 and turn right down 400 N. It is at the curve and on the hill.

Please keep in mind that it is illigal to investagate cemetery property after dark unless you have written permission from the grounds keeper or land owner. I have been investagating for a few years now. There are a few places to go but just be careful. I know willows weep is pretty active but it's about 3 hours away. There is also a place called revenant acres over by knightstown. 8 hear it's pretty active as well!
