Delaware..? ask the cubanos in Cuba and the Embargo Fidel has on them.....Nothing will change for the cuban people if the Embargo is lifted....unless Cuba engaged in a FREE market inside Cuba and let cubans have their own bussines

It is both good and appearent, more and more voices are speaking out against the past failed policy of the U.S. embargo against Cuba. Others can continue to whine and complain about Castro etc. but such whinning and complaining, including the Embargo, have done nothing to bring change to Cuba.

It is past time for new and creative approaches to our Cuba policy!!!!!!!!!!

Before I head off for class, I'll make Liger, the Gnarly Gnats day, by commenting on your post...since he still likes to muck around by saying we're the same person. lmao!

Great post. You are absolutely right about the need for the US to change its policy toward Cuba. The effort to crush Castro by denying him access to markets or the world to Cuba's products has failed. It has failed to bring Castro to his knees. It has failed to destroy his government. It has failed, most of all, to change Cuba from within. The people of Cuba deserve better than Castro and far better from the US. Let's see if anyone at the WH or Foggy Bottom know it's the 21st century (not 1960) and come up with something that fits a new day and a new challenge. Cuba deserves better. The US deserves better. End the embargo.

Many of us are also sick and tired to hear people decide on the cuban process for freedom. It is true the Embargo have done no good foor USA ecconomy and american who wants to visit freely..besides that in Cuba there is no embargo. Cuba buys from this country and the rest of the world as usual. Only here they have to pay cash in advanve or we will end up paying with our tax dollars. You know Cuba do not Pay their debts.I only wish the Embargo is lifted tomorrow for only one reason..to see you cuban agitators stick their tongue...you know where. And Raul will never end his years of Cuba's ownership..that is for sure.

Confusion have allways been with you on the people of Cuba's rights ....It will not be USA who will free cubans in the island by lifting the Embargo, but a change from the Gov. of. Cuba to his people and .....why not push hard on Raul Castro????

Confusion? None on my part. You can answer for yourself as to your own confusion. Will lifting the embargo bring 'freedom' to Cuba? I'm not aware of anyone who said it would. It would be the right thing to do though. It will lead, I am confident, to an opening of dialogue and an exchange of people, resources, and energy. That will be good for all concerned.

The reasoning behind the negetivity is that Marie works for Castro's intelligence service the DGI. It is in Castro interest to keep the embargo as he blames all Cuba's ills on the blocade. It is also in Miami's interest to keep the blocade as they make millions smuggling people from Cuba. So Marie spouts the party line so she can continue to collect her check from El Jefe and Welfare from the US.

Hitler again? Liger, Hitler is not in Cuba. The Castro regime has and continues to do terrible things in Cuba but, with the exception of the Miami Mafia, no poltical historians rank them at that level of evil. They are just another example of failed revolutionaries who end up as dictators much like the ones they replaced. Is it bad in Cuba. Yes. Are the Castro brothers at the level of Hitler? No.

I apprecciate your sincerity and opinion, it has really made clear of your thougths about the dictators in Cuba. Many in this forum waitted for this post a long time. I am not going to contradict you anymore than I already have in two years at this forum. Hitler was a Dictator on his time ans a killer that thanks God he did not last 50 years like Castro. Someday the world will know all the crimes Castro have comminted in inocent people just to keep on power for50 years. Cubans are not less than the rest of hummanity, but for some they must live with some part of the freedom even after Castro. Castro call us the mafia of Miami...you did too. But beleive me anything that Castro can call us will make a real big difference between his ideas and ours for a FREE CUBA of Castro. YO NO COOPERO CON LA DICTADURA and a DEMOCRTIC CUBA, And Having them taking to a court of Law under the Cuba constitution of 1940.

An excellent post Marie! Who said you can't get water from a rock? Dense as he is, we finally made him speak up! He has admitted that he does not believe that castro is that bad! And of all the places in the Cuba Forum! And considers us, the Miami Mafia! I'm saving his post for my files, we had to pull a lot of teeth to get the "twins" to admit to their way of thinking.
Quite frankly though I knew this all along, I texpected better from the maggots. Despite our barking at each other, I never expected him to be that sincere out of respect for us, But there we have it, we now know his opened mind.

I've been trying to get you to open your heart since day one on the forum. Thank you for your sincerity. But I must digress. castro & che are just as evil as hitler, just as fanatical, just as selfish, just as dictatorial & just as murderous. Hitler was a national socialist.
Chancho che & the castros are international socialists. Different ideology, different economy, but both evil, all murderers who answer only to themselves. Of course, if you are a SOICIALIST, then you dont see the castros in black & white, but in shades of grey. Very convenient!
