Took my retirement savings and did not replace my engine with a low mileage engine like he said. Instead put in an engine with over 100,000K miles which has no longevity. The engine had problems with starting the day I drove it home after he did the engine replacement. He had my car for 3 days and never fixed it. I took my car to a certified, honest mechanic and he told me the orginal spark plugs were still in the engine and should have been replaced. The idle was way off, so we concluded that this was tampered with so my car would never be fixed while under warranty and my warranty would run out. Fortunately for me, the honest mechanic put in new spark plugs, adjusted the idle and now the starting problem is much improved. This engine has so much sludge, that I will have to pay more money which i don't have to have it cleaned and the engine will probably go south before I even pay the car off. The owner and his employees are crooks and I would never trust these people. They took my last bit of savings I had and now I'm looking at worrying when this old engine (probably taken from a junk yard) is going to last. I paid this company $2,900 for a bad engine and now I'm faced with having to get another car. I am a victim, a woman, of course, who was ripped off by a greedy, unethical mechanic. I wonder how many women he has victimized like me.

If you are refering to the shop im thinking of you must of just had a bad experience or u are impatient. I have spent tens of thousands of dollars with those guys over the years and never have been dis satisfied. Mechanic work takes time and big jobs take time i have several vehicles that they work on.

If you don't know if this is the shop after spending tens of thousands of dollars there, then I find your reply is probably deceptive in nature. No reply is necessary because I know what happened to me and patience had nothing to do with it. I know that this so called mechanic cannot be defended as he was in the wrong. And, consequently you are trying to make it sound like I am at fault. You are probably a friend, relative, or the owner himself writing this. Who knows.

I KNOW THE OWNER REALLY WELL AND I HAVE HAD A BIG BILL WITH THESE PPL AND HE LET ME PAY IT HERE AND THERE WHEN I HAD THE MONEY AND I CAN IMAGINE WHAT A MOTOR JOB WHOULD COST SO ITS NOT CHEAP NOW YES I AM A CLOSE FRIEND AND TOO SEE THAT ONLY ONE PERSON ON THE INTERNET IS UPSET WELL MAKES IT SEEM LIKE A WELL KEPT HANDELED SHOP NO OTHER SHOP HAS DONE FOR ME AS THEY HAVE AND I HAVE YET TO FIND ONE THAT WILL LET ME PAY HALF NOW HALF LATER OR WOORKED AROUND MY TIME FRAME SO I CAN SAY U WHOULD HAVE TO BE A RUDE PERSON TO HAVE TO HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH LONE STAR AUTO GREAT WORKERS WELL TRAINED

AND PLEASE TELL ME WHERE U FIND A NEW MOTER FOR 3000 THATS NOT FROM A JUNK YARD CUZ ID LIKE TO BUY A NEW MOTOR FOR THAT CHEAP SO DONT TALK ABOUT MACHANICAL WORK LIKE U KNOW HOW ITS WORKS OR DONE JUST ANOTHER SHITY PERSON TRYING TO GET FREE WORK AND SEEING FROM THE AREA THERE LOCATED I CAN TELL WHY GET A LIFE INSTED OF TRYING TO GET AHEAD OFF HARD WORKING PPL
