This is a good thing, I hope it becomes a law.
It is so sad when an owner of a pet passes or can not take care of a pet any longer, and no provisions were provided for the pet. The pet usually ends up in a shelter.
I know under certain circumstances, like an accident that takes the owners life unexpectedly can not be avoided. This is why I urge everyone that has a pet to think about and make arrangements for who will take care of your pet if you should die or become incapacitated.
Please make sure it is someone who will love your pet as much as you did and will take care of the pet properly.

Governor Rell, if there was ever a right time to step up to the plate and take action, it is now. Veto this immoral bill. It is an assault on the collective conscience of mankind. We must stand against this threat...unitedly...animals must not outlive their owners! I won't allow this in my backyard.

Congratulations to our "crack" legislators in Hartford. While the state continues to fall apart financially, they still manage to find the time to work on this "dog" of a bill.

It won't make a difference. By the time we all pass on, the state will be so far in debt that they will take all your money anyway.

Nothing left for Fido!

I am glad to see where the legislative priorities are. See you at the special session, so you can spend more money and put us further into debt. Nice job!

The Weicker quote of the day was ' an income tax would be like throwing gasoline on a fire'.

Sorry but I was unsuccessful in trying to repeal it. maybe a Tea party tax revolt can get the job done.
Please

Why don't you go back into the cave you came out of. Keep your insensitive views to yourself. God doesn't want to hear them either. He loves all His creatures.
