I remember someone heard Brian Williams reporting at a private get together full support for the Iraq invasion, because Saddam was dangerous, or some other such bromide.

But Brian is a likeable reporter, handsome to the women, and does his job well. Let's hope the leading TV journalists will not make the same mistakes in the next build up to war as Judith Miller of the NYT made as well as dozens of others.

Those who believe in U.S. foreign militarism need to have the strength of their convictions and pay taxes in line with the staggering costs of our wars, and have their kids on the front lines. It is only common sense that people must have the courage of their convictions.
