interesting.
car taxes can be written off ones income taxes.........if eliminated, now we will have to pay taxes on that small amount of money on our taxes.

pay now , pay later.

towns will lose some income and will charge residents more in taxes to make up the difference.

it's a publicity seeking ploy by our unpopular gov.

Bad idea. The state have serious money problems. If the Loser want to get rid of a tax, let it be the state income tax. Shame on him.

I grew up reading adventure stories in the back of comic books and my whole life Iíve wanted to write those suckers, so this weekend, I decided I was really going to do it. I said ďIím going to follow my dreams and write adventure stories in the back of comic books!Ē That is, until I found out that comic books donít have adventure stories written in the back of them anymore. Apparently, itís a lost art. Pretty sad, really. Also, the comic books these days are racy. Theyíre like pornos. I was shocked. Iím a pretty liberal guy, all things considered, but the stuff these cartoon guys do to robots and octopi. Man oh man. Itís pretty sick. Anyway, I decided to start writing an adventure story anyway.

The car tax should be eliminated on old cars. I cant pay the tax bill on my worthless old truck. The town says its worth almost 3000.00! It is rusted-its worth the junk value only, about 300.00-I cant sell it to anyone, nobody wants it. But I use it to haul with occasionally so I would like to keep it going, I cant afford to replace it. The tax collector wont budge on it either, I tried. I think its just another way to harass low income people by my snooty town hall. I think eliminating the tax would be great for that reason-but it should be for vehicles worth under $10,000 or $15,000 and/or for people with fixed and low incomes. That will help students, parents and older folks out-maybe cover a months groceries or a utility payment.

I don't think he ever intended to follow through on this. Just another Ct. politicians lie to look good. Just like when Rowland first got elected, he swore the state income tax would not stay, now it's been raised at least once. That's all these basta345s do, lie and rob us.
