Non-complying swing set not child's play for Westport zoning officials

There are 3 comments on the Connecticut Post story from Jan 28, 2013, titled Non-complying swing set not child's play for Westport zoning officials. In it, Connecticut Post reports that:

Like most 7-year-olds, Lynnea Moskowitz knows her way around a swing set. Since her father Cary built a set for her in the front yard of their Sturges Highway home in October 2009, she's learned quite a bit about the apparatus.

zoning laws: mostly, the apparatus by which miserable people can spread their misery to other neighbors (and in this case, to a child)

Agreed!

We put up a trampoline and my neighbors had a fit. They thought we would bounce so high to see into their daughters window. Are you kidding me? They sic'd the town on us, supplied them with pictures and everything. The town said we did no wrong and they could only ask us to move it to a differant part of the yard. Since the town had dealt with this neighbor in the past and knew what a a$$ he is, they didn't want us to move it at all. We did, just because I didn't like where it was set up, took up too much of the yard.
