Harry can't even run a dept as Susan has so kindly said in so many words.Norwalk find a good Superintendent and treats her like Sal.

Superintendent Susan Marks said she was unaware of the arrest, but school officials had been speaking about ways to crack down on illegally-enrolled students. Marks said officials had not discussed enforcement intervention as one of the means of combating the problem.

all that police work down the drain,we were all hoping those new cycles were going to help crack this case no pun intended Harry.

29-year-old man who was gunned down in The Bronx on Sunday was also shot in Norwalk last year, police confirmed.

Norman McCassling of Bridgeport, and a 19-year-old female were shot on March 21, 2010, in the area of 143 South Main St. McCassling suffered a gunshot wound to his abdomen and pelvis, and the female was shot in her left shoulder.

Police said at the time that it appeared to be a drug deal gone bad, as investigating officers found bags of crack in McCassling's pocket. Police sources declined to comment on whether or not McCassling was affiliated with a local gang.

McCassling was shot three times in the chest Sunday afternoon in New York after a group of three men confronted him at the corner of East 182nd Street and Creston Avenue, according to The New York Post.

Investigators pronounced him dead at the scene.

At the time of his death, McCassling had two pending narcotics sales cases at Norwalk Superior Court. Both of the cases stem from Norwalk Police Department investigations.

Both of the cases were disposed of due to McCassling's death.

Norwalk Police Chief Harry Rilling said he was saddened by the news of McCassling's death.

"It's a very, very sad occasion when anyone is murdered and when a young person's life is cut short, it's especially sad," he said.

Yeah I don't see the problem. The drug dealers in NYC did the City of Norwalk and the State of CT a huge favor in helping to reduce the docket, as well as the cost of a trial. One more criminal off the street, no biggie IMO.

Regardless of what the papers report he was human,a great father and an amazing person and would have stopped at nothing to help. And i find it crazy how some ignorant people can post negative comment ...... As the mother of his twins i suffer every day knowing that my girls have to read this and face the reality that they are fatherless and some ass hole thinks its ok because he was seen as criminal
