He had his day in court, he was ordered to be deported a year ago and his appeal has been denied. He has NO legal grounds for being in this nation - end of subject.
Why is he still here?(Other than making an attempt at sympathy for his parents bring him here as a child in an illegal manner)
Escort him to the border and show him the exit!

Deport Illegal Immigrants

There is absolutely no excuse for any Illegal Immigrant to be in the USA, as they are criminals disrespecting our Laws, People and Country. Sneaky Illegal Immigrants are costing US tax payers tons of money and they all need to be detained and deported with no more excuses, appeals or other bolognie. Also, seize all assets of all Illegal Immigrants, so they can pay for their own detentions and deportations.

What's the big deal, don't they have colleges in Mexico?? I believe they do and I would also like to know how as an illegal he was able to get into a US college. Did he have any student loans?? How if he did?? Perfect example of why proper documentation is of utmost importance--if you don't have it you don't work or go to school in this country........

Are his parents still here? Was the uncle here illegally also? Is there any reason he cannot go back to Mexico and reapply to come here legally? Have the others who were arrested with him been deported? Where did his family come up with $5000 to bail him out? Just some ????

""Brought to the U.S. when he was 22 months old first to the Bronx, then to New Britain he learned early to live in the shadows.""

----------

Every illegal claims he was brought here when he was an infant and they can never prove a word of it. Not that it matters. He's illegal and has to go.

The sooner that this criminal is sent back to his own dirty country, the better. We have way, way too many Mexicans already.

All these people supposedly brought here so long ago should have applied for citizenship by now.

There are MANY American children with a dream as well and deserve the scholorships and the space in classes in their Own country.

I agree "He's illegal and has to go".

TheRealTruth - Save some of anger for the corrupt traitors that ALLOW this nonsense to happen - namely our elected representatives and government officials.
Certainly there is plenty of reason to deport this individual imediately - but also consider this - without the aid and abetment and without the support/protection given to him by the lack of enforcemnt at many levels he couldn't have survived here in this nation for one month (and that goes for his parents also).
He is part of the problem no doubt, the solution is to kick to the curb the traitor politicians who again ALLOW this to happen.

SHAME on her parents!!

They should have known this would happen eventually. I feel sorry for her and hope she channels her anger at the parents that caused the loss of her dream.

Jim b - Pardon me but Mariano, the student in question, is male.
Beyond that I agree, the parents had to know full well that his entry into this nation (when they brought him here) was illegal thus putting him at great risk.
No sympathy is this corner, Mariano has alreday received enough benevolence from this nation and the taxpayers.
Deport him immediately - along with the parents if they have not petitioned for citizenship!!

Deport him and his parent and any other siblings the parents had here, seize all belongings sell them at the nearest garage sale! Deport to ALCATRAZ 5 years for unlawful breaking and entering in the united states, we don't need his dreams we have americans who dream the same thing with less attachments to them. With him there are terms and conditions if we let him stay... we just have to read the fine print they created for us too read.
