but if he killed another innocent driver or pedestrian in the process you guys would be p!ssed then, right?

get over yourselves. funny how i only implied something and it was so easily understood.

not saying he's guilty of anything, its simply convenient...

"It is people like you that ruin society." - are you judging me?? pot meet kettle.

I heard he was not driving and the person who was ran from the scene, leaving ricky to die, from burns. Shitty friend.

He didn't kill anyone else...so give it a rest. I started judging you the second you started judging my deceased friend here.

Unless you know the family and the real story I suggest you don't say a word and keep your opinions to yourself. Ricky was actually in the passenger seat and the driver spun out of control and hit a tree on Ricky's side. The driver then fled the scene at which point the car blew up in flames. Ricky had burns on 97% percent of his body. So thank you "wowzers". Next time you have something to say I suggest you wait at least 24 hours after the death of a young man before you opening you big mouth. Peice of $h*%.

horrible article that is very inocrrect. Ricky was not the driver of the vehicle and the driver did flee after the crash so get your facts sraight before publishing a story.

actually Ricky was the passenger as stated before..the driver, his so-called "friend" ran from the scene..This article along with the other news stations posting this are horribly mistaken..I was good friends with both of them, but ricky definitely wasnt the driver so i suggest all rude comments stay to yourself.

If the driver of the car you are is driving carelessly reach over and pull the key from the ignition at a stop sign. Then get out of the car and throw the keys in the window so the driver can kill himself.

BTW the best place for sympathy is in the Obituary columns where the family will read them.

These columns have comments from people who don't underst and the wreck and are curious and not always sensitive to the emotions of survivors.

If they find out that he was drunk or high at the time of the accident, then its his own fault and thank goodness that nobody else was involved in his stupidity.

Now if there is no alcohol or drugs in his system then my condolences go out to the family and friends.

No one is looking for sympathy from you..im trying to help everyone understand what happened..and with how fast it happened there is no way he could have pulled the keys out..so when you wanna sit here and tell me that i should look for sympathy in the obituary section just imagine if this would your friend, brother, or son who died innocently at the hands of someone else.

Sorry, I didn't read any of the comments. Again my condolences go out to the family of the person that died.

But since the driver took off from the scene of the crime there is something messed up big time here. So either the driver was DRUNK OR HIGH and he deserves the max fine and jail time. Because someone who not neither one of those doesn't leave a friend in a car to die, they try everything and anything to help save the passengers in the car if they are not too injured.

I hate drunk drivers and or high on something drivers and anyone that does get busted for either one of them should get the maximum fine and jail time that is coming their way, no matter what the circumstances are or who they are.

aboslutely..the driver was drunk and somehow convinced ricky that he was ok to drive..ricky was always the kid to take a cab because his mother died from a drunk driver..the person driving will definitely pay for this..

I hope who ever the driver is gets the max for it.

I have a bad feeling this person will only get maybe a year for it because of the first offense and that its not actually considered murder in the court blind eyes.
I had a friend that got tossed out of a vehicle that was driven by a drunk driver and she died 5 or minutes after the accident happened and the hospitol was only 2 blocks away from the accident and now she is buried a block and a half from the accident. Messed up isn't it. But the driver survived but got nothing but a fine and also paralyzed from the waist down and the court thought that was a good enough punishment. I say BS and so did everyone else in that town and still thinks the sameway now. I also have lots of other friends that have died from either drunks or high idiots and or friends that have killed people because of one reason or another and I have no sympathy for the ones that caused death for their own selfish reason.

The laws need to be changed big time and people who do stupid stuff should know the law before hand that if they get caught doing something stupid they will get the max first time and not a lesser sentence because it was a vehicle and not a gun or a knife, cars should be considered the sameway.

They never will or the Judges will be the new population in jail from DUI's.
The LAWS revolve around them.
