The reason why is that St Paul homeowners pay "fees" for everything the city does. Fee to clean the street, fee to clean the alley, fee to provide a water meter, fee to plow snow. etc etc etc. Property taxes are HIGH, and the city wastes money by the boatload. Thank you Mayor Coleman. You are a fool.

How can they go down? they have been raised so high in the past five years, it is forcing people out of the city. For example. I live in a 1.5 story expansion. 2 BR 900 sq ft, 40 ft lot, my property taxes are $4,000 a year. I have been trying to understand what I get for $4,000. Maybe $1,200 worth.
