If you feel that someone is in danger, you should contact the police department in your city asking them to contact the polcie dept in the city your grandson lives. Do not waste time posting to public sites like this.

Also not a good practice of revealing Protected Health Information and licensing information on a public website. This is a HIPAA violation.

Dr Kellum is a rude nasty person that could care less about his patients or the care they receive. And don't bother trying to talk to him about your concerns,he's too good for that!

I've been going here for a very long time. I have no complaint but it takes a very long time to get to see my sons pedi. We sit in the waiting room for two hrs. at least.

Took my son for wheezing and problems breathing, after 3 hours we were seen by Dr. Kellum and he could not even given us 3 minutes of his time. Never got all my questions answered either . I will never go back there again. So sad, we need good doctors and medical care and that us so hard to find.

Dr. Kellum is only it for the money. He is constantly firing competent employees to hire less experienced people he can pay less to do a far inferior job. The practice is constantly ''changing policy" to suite their own needs. The policies change day to day. Good luck seeing you provider and getting good treatment.

I'm a kellum patient i love their office in schertz the girls up front are nice they always greet me with a smile i'm not going to lie there is a small wait but its because they try to see every patient that comes in sick! the medical assistance are so helpfull and carring i dont see why all these people talk so bad about this clinic its actually got better after the new crew dr kellum put out there. poor girls get yelled @ by patients that are just seeking drugs/or people that dont get what they want.myself as a nurse can understand why a patient has to go back to follow up with a dr.and if a practice has policies its for a reason.girls keep the good job and i'm sorry for all the RUDE PATIENTS you all have to deal with.

I have been going to kellum medical clinic for a few years now and definetly notice the change. The new front office staff is amazing compared to the last. I have to admit some of the policies have changed but after speaking with my provider I now know why. I love that the practice offers walkin ins. I never know when my children when get sick. I totally understand all the negative reviews but the girls there now have totally progressed the clinic. I have witnessed a patient yelling at the girls in the front and they all kept calm and assured the pt it wouldnt be much longer even though he was a walk in. Love there attitudes. Keep it up staff. See you soon!

I have been going to Kellum Family Practice for more than 15 years now. Started with his old offices on 87 and then his newer one on that same highway in Adkins. I now go to the Schertz office. Like some of the others I too have seen changes over the years; some good, some bad at times, but I have to comment regarding the overall treatment I have received there.
With a few rare exceptions I have received competant treatment at the hands of the doctors and PAs there. There have been one or two doctors I would like to have punched out; but I am shocked at the remarks about Kellum himself. First of all, you should probably have identified WHICH Dr. Kellum you were talking about. I have been treated at one time or another by both Kellum Senior and Junior both of whom were polite and listened carefully as I blabbered about what I thought was wrong with me then did the tests they considered necessary and treated me accordingly. Neither of them have been short with me at any time, nor have they ever rushed through an examination.
In the past few years however I have noticed how rushed Kellum Jr. has been. His workload is sometimes overwealming and, in the past, been frustrated with the incomptence of some staff. Frankly I think he has more patience than I have. Now I believe he has limited himself to OB-GYN work in the offices. Much needed.
Lastly, the comment about Dr. Kellum thinking only about money.... EXCUSE ME! Do you have any idea how many Medicare patients the offices have to see and how LITTLE they get paid for that? You should really see the financials. Overhead eats their lunch; payroll, utilities, TAXES, insurance (including medical liability), legal fees, etc. Every owner and employee of Kellum Medical Group HAS to watch expenses, make every effort to collect what is due and waste nothing. If Dr. Kellum is concerned about money it is only to keep the practice open for the care of sick people in the communities, no matter what their financial status is.
Enough of this. I've really got to stop holding this in. I need to let go and express my feelings some day. Sheesh!

I completely agree witH EROG & FORMER PATIENT. Dr Kellum(the Senior)is very rudy. I have seen how badly he treats his staff...so much drama with this one..Wow, yelling at staff in front of patients..no cool doc..no cool. You don't know good staff when you see them in front of your nose...shame on you. Try some tact and common courtesy.

They have been my doctors for many years , but lately honestly they suck! The system and workers suck ! They never have appts. But when you go the office is empty. Oh well I don't see them lasting much longer .

Wait times WITH an appointment are 1.5 to 2 hours. Tried refilling a prescription for 3 weeks and get transferred to the "nurses voicemail". Never received call backs. Finally switching doctors, this is unbelieveable!
