this is a perfect example of stupid punishment, 350 years Hell I think 1 life sentence with out parole would be enough. DA grandstanding, this man was wrong and should get a life sentence, but 350 years? what is the point?

The DA did not do the 350 years. The jury gave him 50 years for each count he was convicted of. He was convicted on 7 counts. 7 x 50 = 350. Now the judge when he gave sentence, he had the choice to let the time run concurrent or stack. If he gave them as concurrent then he would serve one 50 year sentence and be able to parole in-between 10 and 15 years. The judge stacked the sentence so that he would have to serve the first 50 and parole then serve the second 50 and parole and so on that way he got life. It looks dumb on paper but it is the only way the judge could keep this person in jail. The DA's office had nothing to do with it.

If there is any justice in the world, he will serve it in general population where the Bubbas can daily do worse to him than what he did to the child.
